A small spoonful on top of kibble or mixed up into it, or even "hidden" under it, makes the dogs I feed eager to eat. Both are toy breeds, one mine, the other a neighbor's, so they don't need much of the topper; their kibble is only 1/4 cup twice a day. The neighbor's dog used to fuss; now she eats her food immediately. My dog inhales her food, just as she did before, but I think she benefits from a little moisture. (I especially feel that senior dogs should have a little moisture in their kibble; I can't say why, but dry food seems just too...dry.) I used to put in a spoonful of chicken broth or veg broth, but this is obviously more nutritious. All of thee three flavors were enthusiastically received by both dogs (I wouldn't have thought of feeding a dog kale, but it works).The box easily closes, not "shut" but enough to avoid problems; I place it in a small sandwich bag in the fridge and it lasts a few days since I only use a little at a time. It could be stretched out with vegetable broth or water if nec. I do that at the end, to get every drop out of the box.

I always look for ways to jazz up my dog’s food. He is 100+ pounds and requires a lot of food, so we buy him kibble for the bulk of his meals but he rarely gets his food as kibble only. These pour overs are one of the products we put on his food. My dog seems to like them, which is all that matters to me.

I love adding these to there main air dry food so that it mixes up the variety so that they are always eating a different flavor. I love the many alternatives. This could be a meal all on its on but as a topper it's a perfect substitute vs a treat.

I have tried all flavors and now only order the lamb & beef stew because it’s the one that all 3 of my dogs like. However, the last batch that I recently ordered seemed different. It didn’t have a smooth consistency like before. It was very chunky and even had small white bits in it which I tasted because I’ve never seen it before in previous batches. I believe it was hardened oil from the meat fat. My dogs still like it but there definitely is a difference and I’m hoping it’s just a fluke in the last order.

Bought the variety pack, the turkey made my dog so sick. She was up all night with terrible diarrhea & she does not have a sensitive stomach but this product was terrible, should have known from the smell. Threw out the remaining flavors. Waste of money.

I use this every night in both of my little doggies dinner. They absolutely love the taste and I love the way It makes a nice gravy for them. Love all of the flavors, but I think chicken might be their favorite. I will continue to get this for them.

The sample toppers is perfect to see what your dog will love. Our little yorkie loves all of them and they are so healthy for her. She currently eats prescription dog food that she needs for her colitis and this topper has made her enjoy her food again. Thank you so much! I highly recommend!
