I have a sink where the internal mechanism has failed and I can no longer pop up the plug and I didn't fancy taking it all out myself or hiring a plumber to do it so this was an amazing find. You don't remove your old plug at all, you simply pop this inside it with the correct fitting Which comes inside the box. Then all you have to do is a little bit of silicone on the outside and it looks brand new . The mechanism to drain is push so push it once and it stays down push it again and it comes back up to let the water flow out . This took me a total of 10 minutes to fit . Perfect for those who don't want to spend a lot of money on a small quick renovation. It loses one point due to the way it sits on top of your other sinkhole which means it's slightly raised and they will always be a little well of water at the bottom of your sink, but thats a minor niggle.

I had a beltin' one of these in the sink. Then the Mrs best pal decided she was going to tidy our kitchen for us.... offense she believes we're doing it incorrectly or poorly aside I let her batter on. Somehow, she managed to lose the one of these we had. Only God knows how.Then I found myself googling a description of what these things are. And here I am know reviewing my purchase. Feels a little flimsey for the price and just isn't a good a fit in the sink as the one I had but does the job good enough..... if anybody apart from would leave it in the sink but yeah.... no complaints.

Having made sure I was ordering the correct size, it fitted perfectly. No installation skills required…. even my single brain cell could handle it !Very satisfied.

Better than those standard push plugs with the weight at the bottom which gathers hair and muck.This one is the best alternative and creates a better seal too.Just measure the plughole and order your size, great quality, you won't look back!

It’s a perfectly good plug but not for my Caple sink plug hole. It can’t drop down low enough to allow the sink to hold water.

better design easier to fit than conventional spring loaded plugs

We were at the stage of thinking we needed a new sink because we couldn’t fix the integrated plug without dismantling it from the wall. I bought a standard plug on a chain but it’s just not the same and got manky & rusted on the chain quickly. This fits perfectly and looks exactly like it’s integrated. Sturdy and nicely designed. Bit of clear silicon to stick it in although it stays put without. Thank you for saving me hundreds of pounds!
