after years - and i mean something like 30 years - of buying Oregon Scientific indoor outdoor thermometers for our house and fitness and family presents, we gave up on their products getting cheaper and cheaper and unreliable. i loved their crisp design and clear displays. but this seems to be german and made to a very good qualitydisplays are crisp and reavleyradio works and it just seems accurate and consistenti'm hoping the outdoor unit is weather sealed, seems so obvious as a feature for an outdoor thermometer doesn't it. i've been amazed how cheap no name alternatives are so badly designed and made and don't appear to care about long term use. i'm hoping these devices last 3-5 years or more.back to my original point, i've got a 30 year old oregon indoor unit still working nicely. OmG it looks like a 1990s throwback but it works, obviously the outdoor temp probe died a death a long time ago. i'm pretty sure they saved 2p on a unit by not including a decent waterproof seal, that unit would have been £90 retail, and that 2p saving meant it lost half its features after 3-4 years and it could have gone for 30. Oh wait, isn't their regulation coming that says we should but she gs to last or be repaired, errr no, we darent tell companies to spend 2p here and there.

Well built and seems to be reasonably accurate. Easy to setup and get going. Needed the time zone adjusting for the UK being a German product. It also locks on to the German time transmitter - it worked for me but must be marginal in terms of distance! Outdoor sensor needs to be in an enclosure as i found out after a couple of damp days...

Does the job. Easy to set up. Neat piece of kit.

I bought a few weather stations over the years, but this one definitely feels the best.

Happy with the weather station. Temperature reading seems accurate which I was really interested in. Not too obtrusive so sits on my hall table fine. Probably not as large as I thought but I’m okay with that.

Does what it needs to do

It was bigger than others I have had, my fault though never checked measurements. It is set on Frankfurt time so to get the right time you have to +1! Very odd

Better than my last weather station. Only drawback is I wanted to fix it on the wall as I have always done but it has a moulded stand on the back (which doesn't show in pics). So far is doing well.
