Basically good unit
Overall a well built easy to use unit. Only issue I have is that the beam angle is very wide so avoiding false readings requires care, also the 20cm minimum range is a bit annoying

Defect sensor after a few hours.
The sensor apparently does not tolerate moisture. On the lid of a container of warm water. (40 C)It was defective after a few hours and only showed a minimum distance. Drying did not result in any change.

Läuft auf Anhieb!
Hab mich stundenlang mit nem Billigheimer dieser Version rumgeplagt und nur Fantasiewerte bekommen. Dieses Modell läuft beim ersten Anlauf! Perfekt 🙂

Der DollaTek DC 5V Ultraschall-Abstandssensor hat sich als sehr praktisch erwiesen. Besonders überzeugt hat mich, dass der Sensor wasserdicht ist und ein angenehm langes Kabel zum Sensor mitbringt, was die Platzierung erleichtert. Er funktioniert einwandfrei mit Arduino und ist daher gut für diverse Projekte geeignet.Vorteile:- Wasserdicht- Langes Kabel zum Sensor- Funktioniert super mit ArduinoNachteile:- Keine richtige Anleitung; unklar, wofür die Potentiometer sindZusammenfassung:Der DollaTek Ultraschall-Abstandssensor ist robust, wasserdicht und arbeitet zuverlässig mit Arduino. Besonders praktisch ist das lange Kabel, das flexible Einsatzmöglichkeiten bietet. Ein echter Wermutstropfen ist allerdings das Fehlen einer ordentlichen Anleitung – besonders die Funktion der Potentiometer bleibt ein Rätsel. Wer jedoch bereit ist, etwas zu experimentieren, findet hier einen leistungsfähigen Sensor für sein Projekt.
