Nice machine
Same machine I once rented. Professional size and usefulness. Has a drive system to extend the auger and to retract it. Far nicer use than non powered drain cleaners. Wish I bought it years ago.

Love this drain auger!
I have long hair and must regularly clean my drain: which I typically do by unscrewing my drain screen in my shower and using a long, curved screw driver type tool to pull out the hair. I had reached a point, however, where this no longer worked. I looked at various products and settled on this one for a couple of reasons: 1) it does not have a rechargable battery that I have to worry about charging all the time for a tool that I am going to use like four times a year, 2) it is reversable in direction, it doesn't just "retract", it literally "screws" in both directions. I have used the auger only once, but it was effective in clearing my drain which was pretty much plugged, and it is easy for me to use (I am not a super tool friendly kind of gal!)I keep this under my bathroom sink for my quarterly drain cleaning!

Way better than anticipated!
I've never used a snake before but this product was easy to use especially with some practice. I was able to remove a blockage about ten feet in with the snake. It seemed built well and like it will last. I cannot recommend this product enough! I look forward to seeing what other tools the company has to offer because I am that impressed with the quality...and I'm not easily impressed. Must buy!

Poor Quality Device
This vendor failed in my opinion - the device broke in its 2nd use to clear a small kitchen sink. First the tip of the cable broke off at about the 4”. Then when the machine was operating the drain cable was not turning or moving at all. The cable broke inside the unit. I tried several times and still not working. Tried contacting this Vendor through Amazon who provided no support. The Vendor email and lied several times saying tech support will contact me. No one has called me even though they wrote twice that tech support will call me to discuss. This is my 5th time saying this - I would like to have this repaired or replaced. This is an unusable piece of equipment. It broke on the 2nd time of normal use in the kitchen sink.

Terrrible maual and photo. Cable came out o drum and no information on how to re-attach. Very poor instruction overall.

Worked very well
Paid a plumber $350.00 last time. This time in 30 min I saved a bundle. Directions could be better but very good product.
