HyperX Cloud Stinger for Xbox – Gaming Headset for Xbox

This headset is such good value for the price. The sound is great and the volume slider works well. It is so comfortable! And I have a big head so that can be an issue. The mic works great and I love being able to flip it up when it's not in use.

Bought this when it was on offer. Really good sound, sturdy, and comfortable.

Pros: Nice and light, pretty comfortable to wear but still has a firm grip over your ears so they don't fall off easilly, decent cup size for those people with bigger ears, decent sound quality and gold plated audio jack (both my teenage sons say the sound quality is better than more expensive "designer" (but not Dolby 7 surround sound) brands they use themselves). Really easy to use on-ear controls. I much prefer the lift up/lift down mike on/off feature rather than on the wire controls where I never know if the mike is on or off lol). Pretty solid build and they even survived my youngest son's stress test :o)Cons: Volume control can be a little fiddly to get just right when turned down really, really, really low (I tend to use them when my kids are in bed and so don't want them too loud). Not an issue if you set it to a medium volume. Does not have the braided cord (which I find are better for my kids).Definitely reccomend paying the extra 10 quid to get these rather than the version that are branded with a red logo (I have both). Been using for a month now and for the money you can't get much better. As a value headset they really do deliver - good level of bass and not the tinny sound that I had from another headset that was a similar price. Volume control is too sensitive but hey.

The mic on this headset is shocking... Bought it and spent a bit more than I would have thinking this was a high end microphone for voice chat gaming but all my friends have told me there is feedback and quality issues when I speak... Very disappointed. Sound quality from game itself is ok but mic is poor according to people I am chatting with.

I bought this for my son's Xbox Series X. While the headset was comfortable and loud enough for him, the mic quality was poor - I could barely hear him when playing in a team with him.I ended up returning the headset because the cable split within two days of him using it, and not at one of the ends like you would expect, but about half way up, which looked to me like a manufacturing fault.Overall, I would not recommend this headset.

Having been through many Headsets over the last couple of years, I was getting fed up with the Mic dropping out after a couple of months and having a grumpy little boy moaning about it., Was advised buy these via an Xbox Forum and suddenly my sons world has re-balanced. I'm writing this review on behalf of my fiance who is Xbox/call of duty daft. Now I have never used them myself but I can vouch that the sound quality is great. He can never hear me talk and I can hear his game and gunshots no bother. Comfort, I assume is also 5 star as he wears them constantly (and I mean constantly) and has not complained once of any uncomfort. They are well used, they do look like decent headphones. I rarely see him without them on.
