I am in love with these caster replacements.I currently have a crappy $130-range gaming computer chair. I have had it for years and just haven't had the funds to shell out for a nice chair.The rollers on EVERY chair sucks, so I decided to upgrade my chair to at least be comfortable to move around and make less noise.BOY I am happy with these.I have hard-wood floors in the computer room. I really need to get a pad, but these casters are amazing and I could tell a difference immediately.1) The lowest position on the chair sits a tiny bit higher, which I like.2) The rolling is now more like gliding; very smooth, doesn't get caught by literally dust like the crap ones do.3) sSsuuuper quite rolling compared to the crap ones. The sound improvement alone made this worth every penny. I am a late-night person and my significant other is not. She says she never hears the chair anymore at night (light sleeper). It used to wake her up if I scooted back my chair a little too fast at night. Not anymore!4) It just looks better, plain and simple...5) EASY install. flip your chair, pull off the old rollers, and push these into place. No tools needed on most chairs. These will come off the chair was soon as I get a new one to continue using as well!This guy can upgrade an office chair or a computer chair, make rolling smoother, quieter, and the wheels dont snag on random junk on the floor (pet hair, dust, lint). Unless you have straight up shag carpet, these rollers should be ok on most carpets and any hard surfaces.100% worth it. With I had known about it sooner honestly.

I have a nice heavy duty leather desk chair, I am a big man that has worked from home since the start of the pandemic. My HD desk chair casters were garbage from the factory, never rolling smoothly, and catching on anything on the floor, stopping all motion if a dust bunny got near them...These came in, I popped the original plastic piece of junk casters off, and popped these in. WOW what a difference! These glide across my office floor eactly like an office chair should. No worries about snagging on an unseen ball of dog hair, and no worries about the plastic crumbling with age and pressure and dropping me to the floor.These are the casters you NEED on your heavy duty chairs! The roll super smooth, are dead quiet, the caster frames are really nicely finished steel. I can't find anything to dislike about them.

Absolutely standard size. I just bought a new desk chair and decided to get these to use when I put it together over the included casters. The install was a bit of a struggle but I think it was more to do with where the were being inserted than the caster itself as they were the exact same size as the ones included with the chair. These have changed how I move in a desk chair for sure. Reviews were right that you will roll away from the desk very often, but also that it makes movements very smooth. I don't mind it so far, I expected it so I'm compensating for it. Would buy again as they look very high quality, the non-wheel parts look to be all metal and very strong and durable, up to the task of lasting at least a few years. They're not the double wheel style so look much easier to clean and not have a nook and cranny situation.**Excuse the wheel being a bit dirty, I assembled it in the garage**
