This is a cool little tester. Definitely worth the money spent.

I own several vehicles and this is a great test meter to keep me informed on the quality of the brake fluid on each. It's easy to use and reads very quickly.

I bought this to test the racing brake fluid in my vehicle and it does not register any racing brake fluid.I have tried DOT 3 and 4 non-racing fluid and it detects the moisture just fine but when I dip it into the racing variety of the fluid, it reads nothing and acts like it does not detect it. Something to keep in mind if you’re using this for Performance capacities.

It works great correct readings great for doing a inspection

Works well, the screen is easy to read, the long reach sensor makes it easier than some shorter two handed models.

It's very important to flush out water-containing brake fluid. This meter tells you when you need to get ready, or flush right now.

I am an auto engineer by education and worked in the auto and truck fleet maintenance in the past as well as QA for a major manufacturer.I maintain my own cars and my children's. While there are guidelines on maintenance fluids replacement intervals, it is always helpful to know the objective parameters on the condition of fluids. Let's keep it real, few people change their break fluid every other year. Most people I know never do it unless there is some other work on breaks and bleeding brakes is a part of such work and then if the price on the break fluid replacement is reasonable.This is a nicely packaged tool with all essential features. Easy to use on or off the car, unfortunately the calibration of this tool is completely off.The tool delivered the first time did not show any water in the break fluid until i diluted the new break fluid with 20% water by weight and then it only showed 1%.The second one did show 1% water immediately after I tested 1% dilution of fresh break fluid. But then it stayed at 1% after I keep diluting it further and finally, when it was diluted 7-8%, (see picture) it showed 2% water content.This lack of precision completely undermines the purpose of the tool. the first tool showed the break fluid was OK in the 7 year old car when I am sure the liquid change is needed by now. I did not try the second tool on the car as 1% water content the tool would show is just as meaningless as no water.I know that any tool manufacturer may have occasional calibration problems, but having two defective testers in a row shows that this is just a toy not a precision instrument it suppose to be.Very disappointed

I use this in a professional shop. During an MPI, brake and clutch fluid is checked. This makes short work of measuring the moisture content, and the scale makes it easy to know the condition of the fluid. We have used it hundreds of times, and it has yet to fail. It is well made, and worth the money.
