These are AMAZING! Since adding them to my routine, I’ve lost over 10 lbs in the past few months. They keep me feeling full and give me a great energy boost without the jitters. The caffeine level isn’t too high, and the addition of L-theanine seems to help smooth things out, preventing that shaky, uneasy feeling that drinks like Monster can sometimes cause.

Been drinking protein shakes, (we all have our reasons.) However, the brand I selected was out of stock. I don't believe in ensure at all BTW & I like the concept of plant protein.That's why I found this. Perfect, since I've recently decided to quit coffee. The morning green tea is better (green tea has l-theanine which balances the caffeine, so less jolt and jitters than coffee) but I am dozing off much earlier now, and sometimes that's a problem.Just got these yesterday, and as I was reaching for coffee this afternoon for a boost, I remembered these were now chilled and ready to go!!! (the last protein shake I was using had no caffeine) YAY!! I'll try it -- One sip and I thought to myself: coffee shops are missing out on this unique combination if vitamins & noortropics.Currently work from home, but if I didn't, this would ABSOLUTELY rule out any (morning or 3 pm) coffee shop run.It would be fantastic if it TASTED like coffee, too. Not sure if they make that flavor... I jumped on to review too quickly. (Sorry, but I probably wouldn't have reviewed at all if I didn't do it right now.)Great value for money. The flavor is chocolate, it is delicious 😋.Pro: the texture and smell are great. Loving to see it has l-tyrosine as well as l-theanine. Brilliant.Con: There are ingredients I'm not thrilled about, but whatever. Nothing is perfect.Organic would be greatly appreciated.Pro: Happy about the nootropics, plant protein & vitamin B.Undecided: The amount of Niacin is something I'm not sure about, yet. Unfortunately I don't have a trusted nutritionist beyond Google and heresay, so it's trial and heresy. But knowing someone who was recommended niacin by a nutritionist years ago stands out since it made him very flushed and he commented on the reaction. Just check it out for yourself to be sure. It may not work for everyone.

I’m prescribed stimulants for ADHD and am extremely sensitive to appetite loss from medications. It’s been a major issue I’ve faced for over 20 years now. If I skip breakfast, which I often do, I end up skipping lunch and feeling sick to my stomach by the time my meds wear off later in the afternoon which, ironically, kills my appetite as well.I’ve tried forcing myself to eat a full breakfast/lunch but when you’re not hungry, its extremely difficult to muster up the effort to go make a meal you don’t even want.As I get older, I worry more about the effects on my health from my wildly fluctuating eating schedule and started looking into meal replacement shakes because even if I’m not hungry, I can quickly chug a drink in the morning with my meds with minimal effort. This puts something on my stomach, making me feel better throughout the day and kickstarts my metabolism. By the end of the day I’m not nauseated and actually hungry.These are smallish bottles which are easy to slam, and the nootropics version contains some caffeine to kickstart my day plus whatever other nootropic vitamin nonsense they add in (I’ll let someone else be the judge on that, no vitamins can fairly compete with my ADHD meds) and I feel better throughout the day and even skip my coffee these days.The chocolate tastes pretty good, not life-changing but I’m just looking for something to chug quickly so it just needs to taste decent enough to not deter me.I can’t attribute feeling better overall to the drink itself, but the simple act of an quick easy breakfast has major benefits on my health and mood.tl;dr I’m on ADHD meds and used to skip breakfast and felt like garbage all day. I started chugging one of these every morning to get something on my stomach and I feel better throughout the day (energy, appetite, etc) They’ve become my morning routing for the last few months and it’s improved my workweek substantially.I highly recommend this if you have morning appetite issues. I wish it were a bit cheaper but I can’t really complain because it’s the only thing I’ve had consistently work for me.

I bought this newer Soylent product because the regular 14 ounce have steadily risen in price to the point where they are no longer cost effective for me. I use these occasionally as a meal substitute. This Soylent variant is 11 ounces as opposed to the 14 ounce full sized versions. The flavor, chocolate, is acceptable but has an aftertaste like sucking on a solid multi-vitamin. The bigger Soylent variants, Mint Chocolate and especially the Creamy Chocolate do a much better job of hiding this chemical taste. This "brain-boosting" formulation purports to include additional nootropic ingredients and is significantly cheaper, for now at least, than the regular version, albeit at the loss of 3 ounces of contents. That's why I tried it. Frankly, I didn't notice any mind-altering effects either way, but this isn't my steady diet, just a substitute for when I don't have the time or inclination to prepare something else. Soylent should make this version available in the Creamy Chocolate and/or Chocolate Mint variety at the same price point and they would earn 5 stars from me.

Love drinking one of these in the morning, can really feel the energy boost. Tastes great, never had any weird quality issues like chunks - which used to happen in the early days of this type of product.
