Having bought Apple’s fast magnetic charger last year, I’ve been balancing it on a phone stand which was less than ideal. The Forte stand is just what I was looking for to tidy things up.The base is heavy enough to allow one-handed removal of the phone without much difficulty. The cable management is a bit cheap and cheerful, but it works. I suppose Apple having the wire coming out of the edge of the charging puck made that aspect tricky.In summary the stand is a bit pricy I guess, but feels quality and does a great job. Recommended!

It is a solid stand and good looking but I had to buy the apple charger separately so it is a bit pricey for just a stand

First off, potential buyers understand that this is just a stand - not a charger. Which is fine - but do note many products out there do both: hold your phone and also charge. Now let's talk about its utility as a stand - there was none since the product I received was defective, I could not even put it together. It was altogether a huge waste of time. I ended up buying the Native Union charger which is much better.

Works as they say, nice and solid, looks good. Was a little awkward to get the phone off until I read the instructions and lifting it up from the bottom of the phone makes it perfect.

I'm generally a fan of twelvesouth - I have a few of their products and the build quality has been generally excellent. This is not.The base is heavy, which is the best thing about this product. It'll stay in place and if you follow the instructions you'll be able to place and remove your phone one-handed which is great. However the rest of the stand is pretty flimsy plastic, and the fixtures in the 'head' are hidden with just a white sticker which feels pretty tacky for a premium brand.I also had issue with the assembly as both the alan wrench and the screw started to strip before the assembly was even 75% flush - and getting those last few twists done was real hard work. I wont be able to disassemble and reassemble it without replacing the hardware which means, simply, that they chose matrials too weak for their intended purpose.Furthermore as this doesn't come with an actual charger (and I wasn't expecting it to) the actual cost to use it is about £60 additional - at which point you can just buy a complete unit from a competitor and likely have a much better stand as a result.

Really like the style of this stand.Wasn’t going to buy it due to the price but but the bulldog and got one as really wanted it.Stand looks really good fits in nicely with a modern room.I wanted the one that charges your watch too but the angle wasn’t right and you can’t see the time while it’s charging so went for the single phone option.Pros:Very stylish.Magnet is very good and secure.Charges really quickly (using original charger)Cons:Price - Very expensive.Small screw that holds the stand to the base keeps coming loose. Don’t want to Lol tire it while in warranty and also the screw is tight but the stand still moves so may be a design flaw. (Did email the manufacturer but no reply yet.)Summary:If you’re prepared to spend a little more, it’s a lovely stand. It does jiggle about a bit which is disappointing but it really looks good and chargers well.

Nice and solid on the base means it has a good feel to it. Love the fact the charging head tilts unlike the Belkin one. I would have given it five stars if it had better cable management in the base and a folding arm to make it travel compatible. Still glad I bought it though.

I love this stand. I’ve tried a few others that look like this that often include a wireless charger in the base and a Watch charger on the back. Those are great, too, but they are always limited in charging speed, often only giving out half power compared to what MagSafe is capable of. With this stand you can have the convenience of quick-attach and detach, great customizable positioning and the speed of MagSafe and fast-charging (15W). I love the heft of the metal base and its rock solid through adjustments to the charging angle. One great thing about the size of the stand is that it allows for both portrait and landscape orientations so you can use NightStand mode to turn your phone into an alarm clock with the time always visible.Set up was like some other TwelveSouth products where you have to screw the base to the stem. The screw doesn’t sit flush with the base, but the rubber feet make this irrelevant as there’s enough space with the feet to keep the whole thing flat. The MagSafe charger slots in and comes out easily when necessary but not when you’re taking your phone off the charger.Overall, I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for a stand of this type that can take a fast charger. The other solutions out there are great if you like half speed charging, but this seems to be the only one here (there’s a few on Etsy) that supports bringing your own fast-charger to the party. The only downside is that, all in, you’ll be spending $80 for the stand and charger where as the integrated models are just around $35. Enjoy your purchase should you choose this stand!

Muy buen producto

I was very excited about this product as it was showcased by Apple themselves (probably for the wrong reasons as this item is made to sell more of their original MagSafe cables) The base is very heavy and has a premium durable feel to it but I’m disappointed with the mount that I find a bit flimsy and from what I see in other reviews, I’m not the only one. Once you put the phone in the angle you want it doesn’t move but only time will tell if it will eventually completely loosen up and become unusable. On a the bright side, using a phone on a coffee table on its mount without holding it is a very enjoyable experience.

Twelve South Forte für iPhone - Stabiler Ständer, allerdings ist die Plastikverbindung zwischen der Metall Bodenplatte und der Handyhalterung etwas enttäuschend für das Geld. Das Ladegerät muß noch dazugekauft werden. Beim bewerten wird die Ladeleistung und die Wärmeleistung abgefragt. Diese Abfragen haben leider nichts mit der Halterung an sich zu tun. Die original Ladestation muß bei Apple extra erworben werden.
