Q: Is this suitable to hold large food grocery shopping bags? and could I use the net lenght ways in my trunk in stead of the width

No it’s not that big It fits between the front seats and doesn’t stretch that far

Q: What's the max Weight it can hold?

I used it in my campervan with pillows, blankets and iPad. It held up fine and is strong netting with a zip at the front. I would not put really heavy weight in it though.

Q: Will this fit a fiat 500?

It should fit we have two in Ford Focus & Audi Q3 they seem fairly universal I hope this helps.

I would say so as there is lots of give in it so it can stretch and move
