Must peel off the clear film, it doesn't stick to itself (not sticky) instructions say use water but i used soapy water and an old hard plastic card. To scrape out bubles. I taped to window & used exacto knife to cut to frame. I used 2 for the one window (one inside & one on the inner frame) to give it more coverage. My windows are 2 way opening so it was easy to install (not going outside) as this side of the house is higher up (on an incline)when i finished setting it up i saw a rainbow so I knew I must leave a review ASAP!Going to buy another larger size for the larger windows around the house. When halloween/xmas comes its easy to take off, put aside and decorate windows. Then I can reuse with soapy water to have it cling back to the window.

My side door has 9 glass panels that face my neighbor and offered zero privacy. I initially went with a pleated privacy sheet that allowed some light in but I had no visibility out. I just installed this product on my door and OMG the look, beauty, simplicity and privacy is night and day.The sun reflects the beautiful colors and shines through my house beautifully. The favorite part is when I went outside to look at it from the other side it's impossible to see through, in broad day light!My concern was that this would be somewhat translucent and people would be able to come up and peer through the backside of my windows directly into my house, WRONG.The privacy film blocks any prying eyes while allowing you to see out! I'm kicking myself for not installing this sooner.Easy to follow instructions and I had my window done within 20 to 30 minutes. ( I had to cut and install 9 panels)Awesome product, love it. Oh yeah, that price is incredible.

We have a sliding door and window that is a straight shot to our neighbors because we don't have a fence. If you're anything like me, I'm always paranoid about them being able to see into our house, and I enjoy the peace of mind of having my privacy. I discovered these when I was over at a girlfriends house, and I had to get them. These were the PERFECT solution I was looking for instead of having to close my blinds! Now I get to have light come into my house and it's a game changer! The patterns are beautiful, and even shine a rainbow spectrum into the house. They were easy to install with just a spray bottle of water, credit card and razor blade. I absolutely love these and couldn't recommend them any more!

I had bought the clear window cling before and decided to try a different color. I should have read other reviews before making my purchase because this is definitely blacked out.I bought the black with the hopes that some light will come through and have the rainbow effect like the clear, however, even out of the box I knew it was pretty opaque. After trying to get use to it, I will be taking it down.Overall the black film is great if you’re looking for a blackout film, unfortunately I was looking for more sun catcher effect. You can’t see outside but I’m not sure if you can see inside as I am on the top floor. It is a little harder to cut since you can’t see though and uneven, unfitted cuts are easy to see on the window. Other than that, it’s great but unfortunately not for me.

Upon opening the package I was pleased to see things packed up safely, and that the material used for the film/cling was of decent quality. I just recently moved to a new apartment, and extra privacy is always appreciated. These clings provide just that while still letting in plenty of natural light in our living space(s).Applying the film to the window can be a bit tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it they go on just fine. Trimming/cutting them to size was also fairly simple, but a bit time consuming as I am always paranoid about things being crooked.One big bonus is that because of the prismatic pattern fun splashes of color also brighten up the area. Overall, I am happy with my purchase and recommend it to anyone who wants a fun, but affordable, way to decorate their windows.

This is a great privacy film which will put rainbows in your house when the sun hits it. It was easy to apply (make sure you use a very sharp X-acto type knife since the film is a bit stretchy) and it adheres very well. I had paper blocking the windows by my front door to block the dog's view to stop barking, and this is such an upgrade while still serving the same purpose. She can see a bit of movement so she barks a bit, but it looks so good it's a worthwhile tradeoff.

Just what I needed to keep the sun out from my widow with ac unit. I put this up on my front door window just to see if it would stay and it did. Been up a week so I decided to install on my window and glad I did. I put it up about an hour ago and I literally can feel the difference in room temperature in this Michigan heat wave!! Keeping all the UV rays out FOR SURE. Will be ordering more to do the rest of my front windows and sliding glass door. The black spot is a cobweb on the screen 🙂

The film functions exactly how it’s supposed to. Over time I have noticed some parts starting to lift but that be user error before I got the hang of it. It’s also reusable. I found it stuck best once the windows were cleaned, dried, and then I would spray the window with water and then the film with water. This made it stick very well but make sure to squeeze out the excess with a card or something. I have used this to cover my window but also I use it in my Cricut to cut out designs. It is also very easy to cut with an exacto knife to get a perfect fit on your window. I love the rainbows it produces at certain moments of the day as well.
