Ok, I have been hopping for 6 months and consider myself a pretty experienced hooper. Having said that, I am giving 4 stars because it does what it’s advertised to do. It is SILENT which is why I bought it. I am a size 18 and was concerned that it would be too small, but I had to take 1 link out (yay me!). I see why people are quick to return it because you really have to find the right placement for it on your body depending on your build. So, I’m going to keep it and use it, but to be honest, I will probably use my other one as well. This one will get used when I want to hoop while watching television.

It definitely takes a bit to get the hang of it but once you get that down, it's easy and who doesn't like to hula hoop.

I wanted to like this, for the price this should have been made better. I watched videos all over the internet on these hula hoop type belts, so I was really excited to get mine and start using it. After setting it up, I gave it a try. This did not move smoothly. It would stutter and kept stopping. I made sure clothes weren't in the way and the same thing happened.I could maybe get it going around 30 times and it would just start slowing down then come to a stop no matter how fast I was going.After about 15 minutes or so I gave up and took it off. When I removed it from around my waist I heard a clink noise, one of the silver pieces that went on the inside had fallen off onto the floor. I paid too much for a workout item that couldn't even last 15 minutes of stop and go use. Packaged back up and returning tomorrow. :-(

I really like the hoop but it has grabbed my shirt on several different occasion. I now tuck my shirt into my leggings or biker shorts. Easy to use once you get the hang of it! It is fairly quiet where I can watch tv and hoop at the same time while the baby naps in the next room.

I hate to exercise, but this has made it easiER. There is a learning curve to keeping the ball going. (EDIT: It took me about two weeks to get to the point of using it nonstop for 15 minutes.) Work your way up to the 30 advertised minutes. It has not left any marks or bruising on my person. It came with 16 links: 13 were enough for my waist (size 12-14).UPDATE: The rubber bits are coming unglued. And the mode button changes the reading to zero.

It takes a bit of practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, it is a fun way to exercise. This one is very quiet and I can use it while catching a bit of TV.

I read some reviews on weighted hulas that said they were crazy loud- this one in my opinion is not. I watch tv or scroll on my phone and have no issue hearing my shows. The white is really pretty and it’s fun to use. Not sure how much weight I would lose using this but it does get me on my feet and moving which I like. I would definitely recommend this one.

I absolutely love this. I feel it in my core and in my legs. I have recommended it to friends. It doesn't feel like you're working out, Yet your burning calories. I burned 700 calories in an hour and 1 1/2 hrs in medium to fast speed while watching Shark Tales. Great sound track. LolI love that the inside is smooth. No uncomfortable Peggy things Poking you. You do have to be mindful not to wear baggy clothing. Oh and if you have pets you might want to put them in another room.I wish I would have measured my waist prior. I know I have lost inches and it's only been a month. I recommend I recommend I recommend.

Bought this for my girlfriend. She's still struggling to get it going but it was worth the money for the entertainment.
