Despite the higher price, I think the ability to last up to two weeks with minimal chipping really makes it worth it. Hard as nails

Does exactly what it says on the bottle as long as you follow the instructions kept my nail polish safe for past two weeks

I purchased Sally Hansen Double Duty In the hope that it would be a wonder product.It is marketed as an undercoat base coat and top coat and can be worn alone. I found if I used it as an undercoat/base-coat and then applied nail varnish and then applied it as a topcoat this meant that the nails would kind of congeal and the polish didn't last very long it was almost as if the topcoat melted the nail polish. Took ages to dry as well not helpful.Also I don't see that it would last very long or be good value for money - as soon as you've opened and began to apply the product starts to congeal inside the bottle. And application becomes difficult because the product has congealed.Used alone as a clear polish, function is okay but then again because the product congeals soon as you start using it it's not very helpful or pleasant to use.I also noticed that when I use this product for a couple of weeks on and off the quality of my nails started to deteriorate so I don't think it's healthy for the nails. Won't be purchasing again and still on the look for a perfect base coat and top coat that doesn't congeal.

For strong nails use as a base coat also.
