Brilliant boots for all terrains and weather!

Bought these a little under a year ago at time of review and they're still in near new condition, they get worn most days of the week as I'm a dog walker, and the only real change from when I bought them is the laces are starting to get a little frayed at the ends. These shoes are both nice and cool in the summer but also keep me warm during winter, stay lovely and dry inside when it rains or when walking through mud or shallow water, and are very comfortable for longer walks. I'd say the sizing is accurate, if you're worried about it I'd suggest ordering half a size up, I got size 11 (usually a size 10.5) and I have room to move around but they're tight enough to not slip around. Overall would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for some good hiking shoes!

Comfortable, water proof and true to size

My husband had a pair of the previous model for years until they wore out. After a frustrating trip around some sports shops I thought to check on Amazon to see if these might still be available. yes! The lower design around the ankle means that, without being as low as a shoe, they are comfortable for his ankle bones which were badly broken and pinned many years ago. They provide good support, offer a standard arch support, and are robust; you cannot twist or bend them easily. Fair price and true to size, (although we intially ordered a size too big because we couldnt read the worn-out size label on his old boots). I almost feel like buying a second pair in case they ever stop making them! Thank you Karrimor!

🌟🌟🌟🌟 Great Value Hiking Shoes with a Few Limitations

🌟🌟🌟🌟 Great Value Hiking Shoes with a Few LimitationsI’ve been using the Karrimor Bodmin Low IV Weathertite Hiking Shoes for a while now, and overall, they’re a solid choice for casual hikers and outdoor enthusiasts.👍 Pros:✅ Comfortable Fit – The shoes feel great right out of the box, with decent arch support and padding for long walks.✅ Good Grip – The rubber sole provides reliable traction on most terrains, including wet and uneven surfaces.✅ Weather-Resistant – The Weathertite technology does a good job keeping my feet dry in light rain and damp conditions.✅ Affordable Price – Compared to premium hiking brands, these offer excellent value for the money.👎 Cons:❌ Breathability Could Be Better – Since they are water-resistant, they tend to trap heat, making them less ideal for hot weather.❌ Durability Concerns – While they hold up well for casual use, the outer material (leather & mesh) shows signs of wear quicker than expected.❌ Sizing Runs a Bit Small – I’d recommend ordering a half size up for a better fit, especially if wearing thick hiking socks.📌 Final Verdict:A comfortable and budget-friendly option for light to moderate hiking. They’re not the most durable or breathable, but for the price, they’re a great choice for occasional hikers. 4/5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Reliable and comfy footwear

I love these shoes, and buy them on a regular basis. I do ***a huge amount*** of general purpose walking and live in these shoes day in, day out, all year. Whilst the supplied insoles are good, I choose to replace them with arch-support insoles, which I replace every few months, but the shoes themselves last me around 4 years a pair, however I have a pair I wear day in day out as my 'iniversal' shoes and I have another pair I keep as 'best-occasion' shoes, and then I switch them to general use and buy a new 'best-occasion' pair when the generals have passed their 'walk-by' date. I do not buy or wear cheap rubbish footwear, I only have one pair of feet.....plus knees and hips, and comfy supportive footwear is absolutely essential. I don't ever deliberately stand in water, or wade through Lake District bogs, but from my experience of *rain* I've certainly not got wet feet whilst wearing these in, I'm going to say, certainly the first two years of wearing them. Like all this type of construction where, in very simple terms, you have an inner and an outer shell, but in-between the two is a sort of 'plastic bag sewn in, they *are* waterproof for a period of time, but eventually the creasing and uncreasing of that (unseen) 'plastic bag' can (but not always) cause a breach. You can buy a rubbish pair of shoes for 15 - 20£, they'll be rubbish when you buy them and they'll be rubbish all the way until you give up on them 6-months to 1year later, and you'll likely have uncomfortable feet for this period of time too.I keep buying them because they give me excellent service, comfort and value. I take a size 8 (EU42) and that size in this shoe is perfect for me

Great comfort, hard wearing

The last pair of these I had lasted me 2 years, so I knew I was going to be a repeat buyer. Despite the increased price, the comfort and quality is worth it to me. Covering up to 20,000 steps a day at work I knew I needed something comfortable and hard wearing and I’m pleased to say these fit the bill. The insoles are a bit thin though and do tend to wear away prematurely after a few months, but as per my last pair I intend to replace these anyway. The laces also sometimes snap on the metal eyelets too, so I’ll keep a pair handy just in case.I usually take a size 10 in trainers so these are true to size for me, i wear thick work socks with them too. I don’t get much opportunity to test the waterproof claims so cannot comment on that aspect. Otherwise, highly recommended for comfortable work footwear that does not require a steel toe cap or walking duties.

Good value

After buying 3 pairs of trainers I've come back to karrimoors. Good durability, walking, weight and support. hopefully they last longer than 3months. Great walking trainers.
