I got one of these for myself and a coworker. We use them five days a week, and it started showing its age already. The edges are fraying a bit, and it shows stains a little too well, plus the color is already fading out. When I first got this, the color really popped! It still does the job of protecting the desk from the keyboard and mouse causing damage, but I wouldn't suggest writing on paper on it, it will puncture through.

I like this desk mat -- it's a good size for me and stays put on the desk without sliding around.I'm not exactly sure what it's made of (the Ad says leather, although it doesn't quite feel like that), but it works great as a big 'ol mouse pad, which is what I wanted. It's also a bit cushiony, so it's comfortable to rest my arms/hands on as well. The way it's made, I don't think it'll curl up on the edges like some of the other pads I looked at.I also like the wide variety of colors; I ended up getting one in 'Green-Blue', and I like it a lot; it looks really nice on my desk.A good buy for the price.
