must! if you work out a lot and do a lot of intense workout
I usually order the regular size yoga mat but certain work outs require me to go outside of the mat and my elbows would be on the ground. I am glad I got this because when I do walk planks and I would still be on the mat without injuring my elbows

Nice mat
This is a really nice mat. It’s a pretty large mat and it fits well in our workout room. I’d buy it again!

Grippy and adequate, but thin
Very thin, but adequate for my use (lifting light weights, sit-ups, etc). It grips appropriately (I use it on porcelain tile). Also, it cleans up easily (my cat barfed on it).

The mat is covered in tiny particles that look like fiberglass. If you look closely at the photo, you can see them. They sparkle in the sunlight. At first, I thought the shine was just part of the material, but once I started using it, my whole body began to itch and my skin felt irritated. I’m not sure what it is, but the experience left me with a really bad impression.
