I love this bike
I ordered this bike a couple of week ago. I was sceptic at first because of the low price. Until now I rode 75 miles and I can say, I absolutely love this bike. Assembly was straight forward, the bike even came with all the tools necessary. I use it to go surf every morning and so far I only had to charge the battery twice. Admittedly, it's a flat road, but I'm very satisfied. I had an issue with the speed limit, but the customer service was very helpful. They first sent me a link to a video that helped me find the desired setting on the display. Unfortunately, this did not have the desired effect, so the support team suggested sending me a replacement part. Once I had received the new controller box, I was able to replace it easily myself. As mentioned on Amazon, the bike now reaches a top speed of more than 25mph. As I said, I love this bike and I have already recommended the bike to 2 of my neighbors.

I don’t recommend this bike
Bike arrived today and assembled it as per instructions. Checked battery and it came in with full charge. Upon assembly went on a trial run and noticed battery got discharged or went to one bar after 3miles. I thought it would survive for at least 10 miles. Then discovered another issue with charging. I can’t insert provided charging cable into the charging slot. Charging pin is big and slot was small. They provided wrong charging cable. So far these are the two issues and I can’t charge the bike . Contacted manufacturer for return and will post further updates .. waiting to hear from support..Update 03/06 -- Seller notified that they are going to ship battery and charger. Not sure how long i need to wait for those two. As of now Bike is just sitting in my garage.Update 03/19. — it’s just sitting in on the garage floor with no use. Seller sent a replacement battery which is a used battery and doesn’t work. Extremely frustrating and not sure why Amazon is supporting these kind of practices.. I have asked for the return label and no response yet..

Nice eBike bik... but beware
First, know that I'm a retired bike racer and mechanic. That said, I chuckle at some of the "complaints" about this bike. It would appear most of the issues were either caused by an incorrect assembly/setup or perhaps misuse, so keep that in mind when reading the negative reviews. So on to my purchase experience.Positives:1) Looks great! Very handsome design that looks like a mountain bike, not like a scooter or "rambo bike", lol.2) Phenomenal battery life so far. Almost 100 miles ridden and I’ve only charged it once...and when I charged it, it was still reading 54% charged! Granted, I actually pedal my bike - I don't ride it like a scooter or motorcycle all the time so keep that in mind.3) Strong motor - if you need help going uphill, the power's there for you.4) Nice display.5) Well though-out control layout.6) Comfortable ride...although this is a subjective comment. Out of the box it was a decent ride, but with the addition of a taller aftermarket suspension seat post, the ride is now awesome.7) Good brakes.8) Great acceleration.Negatives:1) Upon receipt, the bike I received had a minor paint blemish which was disappointing.2) I couldn't remove the battery from its frame mounted holder because the mounting bracket had shifted way up the downtube so there wasn't enough clearance to lift it out. ( I'll spare you the details of that repair, just know I was able to fix it.)3) I would say that the company's statement of the bike fitting a 6' 4" person is a bit exaggerated. Could a 6' 4" person fit on it? Sure, but not ergonomically correctly. I purchased a longer 400mm suspension seat post that allows for plenty of adjustment and now the bike fits me just fine.4) During my first couple of rides I found the bottom bracket (for the layman, it’s the spindle thingy the pedals/crankarms attach to) loosened up causing a clunking when pedaling. Tightening the bottom bracket retaining cups to the proper torque seems to have cured that problem (they were loose from the factory).5) On my 4th ride, the horn in the combination horn/light unit beeped all by itself and then stopped working altogether. Obviously an internal short. The horn switch tested fine. I ended up buying a replacement horn/light combo myself from Amazon ($17) (refer to "The Beware" section)The Beware:1) Jaison has no customer service phone number, you can only contact them by email or webite chat.2) Therefore I tried contacting Jasion using the customer service email provided in the owner's manual, explaining and requesting a warranty replacement part be sent to me. No response.2) After a couple of days, I tried contacting Jasion again using their customer service portal. Again, I received no response.3) Lastly, I went back to the website and tried their "Chat" portal. I entered the required information they requested but no representative ever answered the chat request. Conclusion:Because I was able to solve all of the problems I encountered with this bike myself, I am very pleased with my purchase.Based on my experience however, and from what I've read, will you get a perfectly rideable bike straight out of the box?Highly unlikely. You'll need to work on it yourself if you have the tools and knowhow, or you'll be vising a bicycle shop.Unfortunately, if you discover any major manufacturing problems with this bike, it seems unlikely that you'll get any response from the company. A scary thought considering the cost of the eBike. As of this writing, it's been a number of days and number of unsuccessful attempts in getting a response from Jasion for a simple broken horn replacement - despite their website touting "Our champion customer service will get back to you within hours.". Not exactly.Interestingly, I see other reviewers had stated they were impressed with their Jasion customer service experience, so I have to wonder what their secret was...I hope you find this a fair review and the information within it helpful.Cheers!

Jasion EB5 plus
I recently received my new Jasion electric bike. I debated for a while if I would get lazy with my new bicycle. I was concerned that it was a lot heavier than my other hybrid bicycle. It turns out my concerns were unwarranted. First off I ride more now than I have in years since when the hills get too steep I just use my left thumb and add some “juice” to make it easier. It also rides beautifully. With the two inch wide tires and the suspension the ride is extremely comfortable and smooth. And I have lots of dirt roads and rough roads where I live so the wider tires more than compensates for the extra weight. But the weight’s irrelevant anyway due to the battery backup when your leg muscles are getting tired. Would I buy this bicycle again? Absolutely! It costs no more than a conventional bicycle yet it makes riding way more enjoyable. There’s no going back for me!

Poor build quality- deception on returns
.1) First the battery. The provided charging cable will not connect to the bike’s battery. The cable is smaller than the battery connector. It even chipped the tip off after many failed attempts. 2.) The fork, the front fork is bent, preventing the front tire from attaching to the bike. (See pic, left side is bent inwards and lower than right side) I had hoped I could try the bike out and have them send a new connection cable, but I could not attach the front tire. 3.) returns, frustrated, I contact Amazon as I wanted to start my return and start searching for another bike (no battery , no front tire, no bike), Amazon has informed me though it clearly says “eligible for returns” I need to wait up to 76 hours for the seller to reach out to me first as they nearly sell through Amazon. Wtf. This company had a lot of reviews, mostly good, now I don’t think I will trust these stores on Amazon.
