M10 boot, 16mm OD so that's what I drilled it out to

Q: some confusion on hole size for these fittings i am assuming that as the bolt is 10mm then, with the actual sleeve fitting the hole must be larger?

I think that the drill size will be 10mm as there will some "crumble" effect when drilling but just to check ,drill a test hole in a piece of cardboard and try it

Do the job well

I purchased these to replace the supplied bolts which came with a new gun cabinet.The bolts are 16mm dia and appeared all the same, they needed only a light hammer into the drilled holes and each tightened up fine.

Admittedly they arrived a little after the expected date, but in the present time that’s to be expected. Fell apart when I took the bolt out

I should have read the reviews - 3 of the 5 of these bolts just fell apart when I removed the bolt. with some effort I managed to use 2 of them. I have since gone to a proper manufacturer. I do not recommend buying these.
