Boye 70883 Aluminum Crochet Hook Set, Sizes G-I, Silver

I saw other reviews of these hooks before I purchased which said that the hooks were sharp and as I was new to crochet at the time pf buying I thought I'd give them a go because they were cheap & this was the only G size hook I could find anywhere! The smallest hook (G) was sharp and I found it split the wool, the other two were fine. I have learnt to change my technique slightly by angling the hook down when I pull through the loops so I doesn't catch on the wool and now I don't find it a problem, I would recommend these hooks for beginners if you aren't sure if you will like crochet then you can upgrade to some better quality hooks later.

I needed the 4.25mm for a baby snow romper I was making and as I think I this is more an American size I was finding it difficult to get. Found these on Amazon and they weren’t expensive and came really quick. Finding them easy & comfortable to use so all in all very pleased so far.

Easy and comfortable to hold. The hooks are finished perfectly - no snags with yarn.

I needed a 4.25mm hook and these seemed to be in short supply. The hook set I bought is usable but so much less pleasant to use than a standard Aero hook.

Crochet to blankets

Did not include a plastic case as stated in description.Otherwise these are standard crochet hooks which I am experienced in using.The hook is smooth so will not snag yarn as some cheaper hook do.
