I had my phone at a Water Amusement park, and purchased a water proof cell phone case. I even put my phone in a ziplock baggie for extra protection. Water somehow, my iPhone ended up getting wet. I bought these to try to save a phone that had been waterlogged while running in the rain. The phone was pretty much beyond saving, but somehow it turned on after sitting in a bag with these for a few days! I was shocked! The phone still had to be replaced, but at least I was able to turn it on and make sure everything was saved and transferred to my new phone!I haven’t used these for anything else since, but I can definitely tell that they absorb moisture!

Vacuum sealed is nice! Didn't have to dry them out myself and were already good to go.
