I needed to update my computer and did not have the correct cords. It's a pain in the butt to have to update everything not to mention the cost. These saved me! They fit on the end of the other cords and presto! The value for the money is amazing based on not having to buy all new cords. They easily install on the ends of the other cords and come off again. I was using this to tether an iPad to a DSLR camera. It worked pretty well, but adds a lot of connection sticking out of the iPad. Not the fault of this item; just the process. I've got to quit watching youtube for things I really don't need, but kinda want. Would recommend for what it is intended to do.

I bought a set of these to use on a laptop that had the USB-C port, but out of curiosity, I plugged one into the USB-C port on a kindle, and plugging in a mouse. It worked like a champ - a kindle can be mouse-driven.The lack of a cable makes these more durable, I think; the small size makes it more difficult to pull from the port by accident. These have been through quite a beating, including rough treatment on plane flights.

Used this adapter to access phone apps when touch screen was dis-functional.Plugged it into the phones USB-C jack, and pugged my wireless USB mouse receiver into the adapter.Was able to operate all apps on the phone with the click of the mouse.Adapter worked like a charm!

The product worked as intended, and I have no complaints about its functionality. However, if you aren't careful,(Let's say you pull it out too fast like I did), there's a chance it can break, and you have a USB-C to USB port with no case that's very fragile and doesn't function well. Just be careful, and to be fair, it is expected for a product this cheap.

It’s working great. I wanted to transfer a number of files from a thumb drive to iCloud. I used the adapter to connect the regular USB thumb drive to the USB-C port on my iPad Mini. Then I opened the Files App on my iPad. From there it wasy to move all the files into one my iCloud folders.One note: My iPad has a thick cover and I had to remove it in order to connect to the USB port. Not a big problem and I wouldn’t deduct points for it. In fact, it was a good thing because I found out how dirty my iPad was beneath that case.

I decided to make a move to Mac from windows since I am embedded within the ecosystem. I did not want to give up my Logitech keyboard, trackball or Samsung monitor. I used one of these Usb port converters on the front usb-c for my Logitech dongle and one on the back thunderbolt port to hook up the usb hub on my Samsung monitor. They work perfectly. They appear to be of decent quality and the ports were “tight” when inserted both make and female ends. These are slightly more expensive than some options but there is a coupon available and the ratings are high. In my mind these represent a good value for the money. I tested using one to connect by phone and the phone charges the battery and passed data. I then used one with my iPad with a usb Ethernet adapter and Ethernet to OBD cable and it worked to communicate with my car. You should have no fear buying these.
