Good nutritional composition, flavoursome, not sugary
I have tried many protein bars over the years, I find most of them to be too sugary, full of chocolate or caramel which I'm not a big fan of, too chewy or just bland. I am now exclusively sticking to the Bulk Macro Munch protein bars, because they have a better nutritional composition than most bars I tried (20g proteins per bar for only 8,4g fat and 21g carbs - you usually get more sugar and fat for that ratio of proteins). They do not taste too sugary, they are a little bit chewy like all protein bars but much softer than some other bars which tend to be hard to bite into. They are quite filling, keep me satiated for a while; perfect for when I travel and can't have proper meals on-the-go, and for when I'm at work in back-to-back meetings and need a healthy snack. They do not give me digestive issues thankfully. I actually always have one of those in my bag.My favourite flavours are Raspberry Cheesecake and Cherry Bakewell, both very flavoursome (especially Cherry Bakewell, really tastes and smells of cheeries), I am not a milk/dark chocolate lover hence I can't comment on the other flavours, but they all seem to have more or less the same nutritional composition. They are a bit pricey, but I get them when they are on promotion on Amazon, which comes back regularly, and as always they get delivered within 24h with Prime which is always convenient.Long story short - I have tried many (many!!) protein bars over the years, these are the only ones I buy now.

They’re okay with a grainy texture and chemical flavor.
Got these as I really enjoy the millionaire shortcake ones. Unfortunately the flavor is very chemical and the texture is grainy. They’re better than most other brands but not perfect.

Good filling product, but slightly bland
I found these bars really quite dense and filling with a drier texture which I don’t mind.Having had other ‘orange or Jaffa’ protein bars I thought these would taste of orange as per description of chocolate orange, they have no orange flavour at all, the only thing I can say it tastes like is. Penguin biscuit, pleasant but a bit bland.Wouldn’t buy this flavour again, but on the whole, when they’re lower priced I would probably buy, just for the filling aspect and nutritional profile.

These mint bars tasted awful!
Now I realise that this is just my own personal taste, but these mint bars tasted sooo awful that I had to spit it out into the bin! I don't buy a great deal of these types of protein bars, as I don't like the thought of frequently taking in artificial flavourings, sweeteners etc. I do usually have one box in stand by though, and this was really a substitute for the former phd mint bars, which they don't seem to make any more. After a week, I decided to try another bar, just to make sure that they really did taste that bad....and it did! Unfortunately, I had to return them for a refund.

Great texture, zero flavour
I have been eating protein bars for years, PHD smart parts, diet, My protein, Quest, Grenade, ON, etc, propbably had thousands of bars by this point.I purchased the cookies and cream and shortbread flavours. Both have great texture, really soft, moist and have crunchy topping pieces. Probably one of the best textured bars, very similar to a grenade bar but softer. BUT! have literally NO identifiable flavour, just taste of generic sweet protein. If they can sort this out, then this could become the No.1 contender, but until then I wouldn't recommend these.Gave these to 3 other people at gym yesterday, not a single person could correctly guess the flavour on taste only and all agreed they wouldn't purchase it.

The Anthony Joshua Bar
Needed to put weight on after dropping loads after a medical issue. Was eating tons without much luck, then had to cut down sugar. My mate, who seems to enjoy lifting heavier weights than the TV remote for some unfathomable reason, suggested I try protein bars.He suggested one type and they were priced like bars of gold bullion. These aren't much cheaper, but they have complex numbers with a lot of letters next to them. Ivan Drago type advanced training technology. Then I saw that they were good enough for Anthony Joshua and well, if they were good enough for that big lump, they were good enough for a munch in front of the TV.I got some 'birthday cake' bars delivered for a princely sum equivalent to three chicken breasts a bar, and went to hit my target of the upper limit of two bars per day. One at mid morning and one at prime TV time in the evening. The bars are tasty. They carry some considerable weight, and are filling. My physio who explained some of my loss of muscle mass was due to over extending myself watching the television, said I should combine them with exercise afterwards. I went for a walk after each bar.First day was spot on but by the third day, I could have blown up a hot air balloon with my impressive flatulence. Such was the brilliance of my new skill, my 6 and 7 year old would dive for cover, giggling, as Daddy took off down the runway (hallway) again and again and again. This all culminated in an event caused by getting overexcited going for my cool walk, in the cool park, with the fresh air and full positive mental health shizz.Unfortunately, near the skater park, a familiar rumbling sparked an instinctive contraction, and that oh so funny game, wasn't so funny with 3,000 steps on my newly purchased wearable, to get back home and strip off.I would just have one a day and see how you go on. Two was funny, but the joke was on me eventually.
