Love these ! Great addition..
Why did I wait so long to get open-ear earphones ? Great, much needed addition to regular in-ear buds (AirPods Pro 2nd Gen in my case).I was using Apple buds for everything, but.. There was something they just could not do well enough or safely enough for me:Cycling, other active sports, unsafe environments and general awareness, etc.Apple buds can slip out and fall, if they don’t fit your ears perfectly (happened multiple times) and cannot match having open ears for hearing outside world.Truefree O2 Are very well made, perfectly smooth and comfortable to touch and wear. Battery life is good, case is solid, bluetooth 5.3 connection is 100 percent stable and in sync.Touch controls do everything required:Play, pause, skip track, previous track, volume up / down, activate voice assistant and activate / turn off game mode.Truefree O2 earphones can also be connected to official app for personalised equaliser settings, touch control changes and firmware updates.- But I have not tried the app, as my setup worked so well, I just didn’t need or want to mess with this. I might later, if I feel the need.If pushed close to ear opening, you can hear thumping bass, but as they just hang naturally, you have to accept them as they are and you cannot do much adjustment other than re-position slightly. The round shape reliably springs back if bent. And that’s how they are meant to function and be worn. They hang a little high on my ears, I think. But that’s subjective and they feel perfectly comfortable and secure and you get used to the sound profile, considering sound is playing from the outside (but still privately if not playing very loud). However, I must say they get plenty loud and I had one of the most enjoyable and 100% safe all day cycling sessions wearing these, no exaggeration !That’s because I could listen to music and be totally aware of surroundings, it’s so satisfying.Oh and no sweat ! No need to take them off to wipe sweat like you do with in-ear phones, if you’re very active. Which is a relief. Also, they sound very clear and natural for calls, both for you and the person you’re talking to.Apple buds sound great, but I would pick these Truefree earphones any day of the week for sports or going grocery shopping, waiting for a parcel (doorbell), things where you need to be reliably fully aware of surroundings or talk to other people. Good value for money too. They recharge fast, last a long time. I Tend to keep volume low / medium level, just enough to enjoy the music, but still hear well around me.Negatives ?Nitpicking, but I would say they announce, ‘Power On’ and then ‘CONNECT’ not ‘connected’ for some reason. And that announcement could be done slightly more quietly. But, that is really just nitpicking.Even my parents enjoyed them, when I asked them to try these on. They liked being able to hear what’s going on around them and said music sounded good.To sum up:All of a sudden, they have become a must have item in my life. I would not be without open earphones anymore. You need both in your life - noise canceling earphones / earbuds and open earphones for different use case scenarios.

Love these! Great sound quality, comfort and mic for a hybrid in/over discreet earphone
I have been searching for a pair of non-intrusive earphones for a couple of years since developing an ear condition which means I can no longer use my in ear Bose earbuds! These did not disappoint at all and for my needs, are pretty perfect! These earphones are super light. The over-ear hook that keeps them snug, which is usually a massive issue for me with my weird sized ears that nothing ever fits! The open-ear design means I can be using these and still hear the world around me, which is super handy. I sometimes forget I’m even wearing them and also when my hair is down, they can't even be seen! Very comfortable and easy to put on. The only draw back is when adjusting them, the controls are super sensitive, I end up cutting off calls mid talking or skipping or ending tracks!I've been using these on and off for a few weeks and still working off the first charge which is great in terms of battery life and charging. The mic is great on calls and people on the other end have not mentioned any issues with background noise on my side even though the open ear design means that background sounds are not completely cut out.The sound quality is on par with my Bose earbuds, very clear and the bass is a great added bonus to my music. The app isn't the best for set-up and sign-up and I would probably say that is one area that needs improvement but the positive is that once up and running, you don't really need the app but I am yet to figure that one out for my needs. The price is pretty good too for what you are getting, even better if you can grab a deal!Overall in all, the Truefree O2 headphones are a fab pick. . Highly recommend for anyone who wants a comfortable non intrusive set for calls and music.Enjoy! :)

Good headphones
I recently got the Truefree O2 wireless headphones, and I’ve been using them for a while now. Overall, I’m pretty impressed, but they’re not without a few quirks.First off, these earbuds are super lightweight—I barely notice them when I’m wearing them, even for hours at a time. The over-ear hooks feel soft and flexible, which is great for comfort, but here’s the thing: they don’t fit snugly on my ears. They feel a bit loose, especially during workouts or any fast-paced activities, which can get annoying. I wish the fit was more secure because the design is otherwise really sleek and practical. What I love most, though, is the sound quality. The audio is clear, natural, and surprisingly well-balanced, with decent bass that doesn’t overpower the rest of the sound. The call quality is also top-notch—thanks to the dual microphones and noise-canceling tech, everyone I’ve spoken to says I sound crystal clear. The open-ear design is a feature I didn’t know I’d appreciate so much. I can listen to music or podcasts while still being aware of what’s happening around me, which makes them perfect for running outdoors or biking. The situational awareness is a big win for safety. And then there’s the battery life—wow. I easily get around 5 hours on a single charge, and with the charging case, I’m good for a total of 14 hours. It’s one of the best parts about these earbuds, especially since I hate constantly worrying about charging my devices. The app is a nice touch, too. I can customize some settings and even switch between devices easily, which is super convenient for juggling between my phone and laptop. If I had to sum it up, I’d say these headphones are great for sound quality, battery life, and staying aware of your surroundings, but the loose fit is a bit of a dealbreaker for intense activities. If you don’t mind that, they’re definitely worth a try.
