The downlights i replaced were old and left a very big hole, and this was the only product (like anywhere) that would cover such a hole. So I only bought these for their 100mm diameter. I didn't have a choice of products. It was either buy these or repair the ceiling.They feel a bit tinny when you unbox them, but at £2.40 each that's understandable. One they are up they look great. If i didn't have big holes to cover I would go for something smaller, as nearly all modern downlights tend to be about 80mm diameter and no separate bulbs

I ordered these fittings to replace an old type (large) recessed light, and based on reviews and product description I understood these were to be 100mm diameter, perfect.When they arived they were in fact 80mm which is the size of hole I was trying to cover !!No problem in returning them, and a quick refund as well.Pproduct was good value, but too small which wasn't made clear in the description.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like these and has made a huge difference in the rest room. Fitting is sturdy. Would have been nice for connecting block to be included but I had some.

We’re decorating the hall and it’s finally time to get rid of the dreadful old fashioned lights we inherited with the house.We’re going for recessed lighting and a lot of the fittings are relatively expensive for what they are. These seemed well priced and the reviews were good so I went ahead and ordered seven.Out of the seven two had damaged twist rings. It was nothing major just the satin coating not done correctly but it would have been visible. I contacted the seller, sent pictures and explained that they could just send two twist rings and we’d swap them out.A couple of days later two new complete fittings arrived.These are excellent value for money and they work well and look good. Yes they could be better but they could also be a lot more expensive.Dealing with the seller was easy and they were really helpful.

This was a replacement for an old fitting. It looks and works fine but made of plastic so very light weight, you could definitely feel the difference in the quality but I don’t think you can get any that are made of SS these days.

Fitting was a bit fiddly and the junction box was a weak point with tiny screws, in the end I used the much more robust junction box from the fitting that I was replacing.Aside from that, it was extremely good value at £3.20 delivered (went up to £5.00 the next day), it fits perfectly, and looks really smart.

Very neat and look great, no complaints at all well worth the money!

Very happy light been in for a while and going strong!I would certainly recommend and will be using seller again!
