This camera comes with literally everything you'd get as if you were to buy the fancier retail packaging, but at a lower cost! Who doesn't like saving money for buying the EXACT same product?This review is coming from a person who has never owned an action camera before, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. I am by no means an avid videographer/ action sports person. When we start off with video quality, I have zero complaints. I typically record in 4k, so the fact that this has the option to go up to 5.3k is super handy if I ever want to downscale or need a higher resolution for cropping purposes. I do notice that the unit tends to warm up after a period of recording, but my sessions are usually 10 minutes or less, so I have not had any issues with overheating.As for its features, the dual screen is really good. No issues in seeing my framing at a glance, with a very responsive touch- screen. The app is also incredibly handy for quickly reviewing footage without having to pull the microSD card out every time.In terms of durability, I can't attest to that too much because I do treat my camera equipment very cautiously, even though I do know this is an action camera. So on the same note, I also have not been able to test the waterproof/resistant capabilities of this camera. However, I do intend to get a waterproof housing for when I eventually go to places with water or where this camera is likely to get wet.Lastly, for battery life, I was able to go through nearly a full day with intermittent recording of 5ish minute clips without any issues on the single OEM battery. Of course, I did opt to purchase several 3rd party batteries as backups, but I didn't even need to reach for them.Overall, this camera is super cool and shoots incredible video. I know this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to action cams and GoPros in general, but as a first-time user, I am more than satisfied with this purchase!

I enjoyed product very much. I used it both in the water and just to take videos/photos. The app you install on your phone to get memory from the Go Pro is very simple to use. The photo attached was just to show the camera quality which was good along with the videos. I used it jumping off of a cliff and with the arm strap attachment it made me comfortable to not lose it. There is an attachment it looks like to use on helmets making this a universally good product to take on activities. The battery lasted my entire day and I’d charge at night. Lastly there’s 3 functions which are to take a photo, video, and time lapses which you could tap the screen or use the buttons on side of camera if your fingers were wet to change between which was convenient. Spend the money and get the memories, definitely worth it

So, I found it good to bake some bread because it gets hot like a stove after 15-20 mins working. Another thing it like a Chinese cameras require using my smartphone (my phone is only phone, ok?) with location on (god, why do they need it?) in order to start up the camera. But thanks no account required. Overall this cost its money and picture quality good as well. I find it not bad in a low light environment. Great scope inside the building due to wide lenses.

My first go pro it is definitely something you must buy you get what you payed for does great videos only thing i was bummeb about is it suckes batteries down fast.

Pay $280 for a camera, then $25 to use the app, and then you have to buy a damn Micro SD card BECAUS IT'S NOT INCLUDED!!!!! It's not usable out of the box, because it arrives incomplete! I expected a better quality product as well. The door to the battery has got to be the worst design I have ever seen! Maybe I will be able to use it and tell you how the camera works!

This was my first GoPro purchase and i'm happy with it. Battery life is pretty good. The app is surprisingly good and unlike most stuff these days you can fully use it without creating a login account.Best feature is the "quick start" setting. You just press the shutter button and it immediately turns itself on and starts recording video. Press it again it stops recording and shuts itself off.Its a very wide angle lens, so especially when taking still pictures you will find yourself having to get much closer to your subject than you would expect. There is no way to zoom in. (you can always digitally zoom later with the app, but you lose resolution then).Would recommend.
