Yes, boys do enjoy this type of craft kit as well, even the cute unicorns. There are 9 felt craft kits in the pack - a cardholder, a shooting star ornament, a unicorn wind-chime, a butterfly handbag, a crossbody bag, a rainbow keyring, a pen holder, a unicorn wall hanging and, best of all, an owl backpack. There are also all the tools and accessories needed to complete the kits (e.g. plastic sewing needles, threads, keyring, cotton stuffing ball, wind-chimes), and a set of instructions with diagrams showing how to sew and assemble all the kits. Each felt craft kit is pre-cut and pre-punched with holes, so it’s a bit like join-the-dots but with a needle and thread. The sewing kit is packed in a very nice colourful box, and would make a great gift for kids. The recommended age is 6+, and there is a warning on the box "CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not suitable for children under 3 years.".

There are 9 sewing projects in the box. I like that each project is pack in a separate bag so you know you’ve got the right pieces for what you are making. I think the sewing could be too difficult for a young child, maybe more suitable for 7 - 8 years old. It is nicely presented in a box and would make a decent present.

This kit is very comprehensive - its got LOADS in it.All kits come with holes for sewing, using the supplied plastic safety needles.All materials are good quality, are cut well and are lovely bright colours.The kits should take no more than an hour, maybe longer for the bag as it has more pieces.It all comes in a good quality strong box which can be resealed to keep everything in.Happy with this product, happy to recommend.

Have you got a crafty child (6 years and above) who likes unicorns, cats, owls, butterflies and rainbows? If so, this would make a lovely birthday or Christmas gift. It comes in a large and nicely decorated cardboard box and contains nine straightforward sewing projects (with instructions). The box contains everything needed to complete the projects with holes already punched in the felt pieces that are sewed together with the included thread and plastic needles as well as child safe scissors and cotton-like padding (for a few of the projects). Priced at £19.99 with a 15% voucher at the time of this Amazon Vine review, this is not too badly priced for a craft kit with so many projects (about £2 per project) and hours of fun for a crafty child. I am pleased with this project and am happy to recommend at the current price point.
