This is an awesome Robot and my 6 year old have had a blast playing (instead I should say Learning) with Dash Robot. Being a Software Programmer myself, I started teaching my son to Code at a very young age and found this Robot to be a wonderful tool to accomplish that. Everything was working fine until My Samsung tablet which he used to connect with Robot got older. It was time to upgrade my Samsung tablet, so we have decided to upgrade to the latest model. That's when the problem started.. the robot doesn't connect to the Tablet no matter what. Tablet works fine with my TV, blluetooth speakers, bluetooth headphones and everything else .. and not the Robot.. I cant connect from Samsung S9+ either.. My Tablet is indeed compatible with the robot as per their Website.I have tried talking to their Customer Service Personnel on Google Hangout too.. however they couldn't solve it. Tried resetting bluetooth setting, Reset firmware, etc mentioned in their website.. So frustrated to see such a big Invested Toy became useless in just 1 year..I have emailed Customer Service twice and awaiting their response.. Will keep you posted on the updates...

Nicely built with quality materials and versatile for use. Coding may get boring and tiresome for shorter attention spans, even given the creative way in which this company approaches keeping kids engaged. My 5 year old gets bored after 20 to 40 min of use but overall he loves it. He needs lots of support/ help to accomplish challenges. He's not tech oriented like other kids but has a large enough attention span. He loves the mischief as you can code the robot to make sounds. I would buy this again.

Upon opening box, the quick start guide was not included, I had to search online and download the guide. Other than that it appears to be okay. Will give to grandson for Xmas, and see how he reacts to the toy.

I’m very disappointed. We haven’t had this robot for long and suddenly it stops being able to charge. My kids noticed a bad burning smell from the device.Argh!

I gave My soon to be 10 year old grandson the Dash Robot for Christmas. He is absolutely thrilled with it, can’t hardly stop “playing “ with it. He’s in the talented and gifted group at school where they have been working on robot programming and have used a Dash their teacher brought to school. He’s already gotten our money’s worth in 2 days! I’ll be giving him the launcher and challenge cards pack for his birthday in a few days and anticipate he’ll be totally inseparable from it then :)

I wanted to love this and it's great from a phone that is compatible with the robot and apps. But the goal was to have this work with my child's tablet and this table is 1 year old! How is this not compatible with a tablet that's a year old? It's highly disappointing. Wanted to return but once it was out of the box, there was no way to take this away from my child who wanted to learn all about it. So it's defeating the purpose of tablet/robot play. I now have to use my phone for my child to play with this robot. I had looked at the compatibility ahead of time but it was not clearly stipulating and honestly did not suspect our tablet was obsolete for this.... It's fun for my child otherwise/with my phone.

Bought this for my 7 yr old. He says it is his favorite Christmas gift. It's a lot of fun and seems like a good quality toy. It moves smoothly across both carpet and hard flooring. He enjoys that it speaks in his voice and has a lot of great features. He was a little disappointed to learn he has to use my iPad to control it instead of his amazon kids tablet, but that isn't a big deal. I like that he is learning when he uses it.

daughter loves this. found out they use this in schools to learn programming so was a good purchase. the programming is simple but a great way to get started
