I’ve been using the Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner for a few weeks now and I’m truly impressed. It leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft, hydrated, and much stronger. I noticed less breakage and frizz, and it works beautifully even on color-treated hair. A little goes a long way, and the scent is clean and pleasant. Highly recommend if you’re looking to repair and maintain healthy hair!

This is a really great conditioner - maybe even the best I’ve ever used? After just one wash, it already made a HUGE difference with my hair - it was much softer, silkier, and shinier! The transformation was so noticeable that I couldn’t help but feel amazed at how well it worked. My hair is prone to tangles, and I didn’t get any after using this conditioner, which is a significant relief for me. The detangling effect was so thorough that I could run my fingers through my hair without any resistance. I even got compliments from my coworkers on my hair literally the day after using it for the first time! They were so impressed that they asked me what I had done differently to achieve such a stunning result. It was a wonderful feeling to know that my hair was looking its best and that others were noticing the positive change.I’d been using one of those fancy custom shampoos/conditioners before (where you take a quiz and they send you a subscription of your formula in the mail) - but while those seemed super fun and were supposed to be made just for my hair, they actually made my hair dull and the conditioner still left my hair in tangles. The custom formulas were supposed to be tailored to my specific hair needs, but they didn’t seem to deliver the results I was hoping for. My hair felt lifeless and lacked the shine and softness that I desired. Despite the excitement of receiving personalized products, the experience was disappointing, and I was left searching for a better solution. Olaplex worked way better and is around the same price or cheaper! The effectiveness of Olaplex was a pleasant surprise, and I was grateful to find a product that truly met my expectations. Olaplex No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is a product that was suggested to me by my stylist after my hair started to get super dry following processing to lighten it. She used the salon products (1/2) and I left the salon feeling silky, but due to hard water, my hair quickly went back to a straw-like consistency. Olaplex No.5 along with No.6 leave-in saved my hair!My hair is naturally dark brown, but in January I decided to let my silver come in and to stop coloring my hair. I let my hair grow our about 1" and then my stylist suggested we lighten the remaining hair (I was hoping to avoid looking like a Calico cat), followed by a darker toner to soften the line of demarcation. Out of the salon, my hair looked fabulous, but a day or two later, back to straw.I purchased this No.5 conditioner from my stylist and after using it for the first time (leaving it on for 5 minutes in the shower after shampooing with a moisturizing shampoo of another brand) both my scalp and hair felt refreshed. I put on some No.6 leave-in on my towel-dried hair and styled as usual. The results were immediate.I now use No.5 about every other shampoo (using a deep conditioner when not using this product), using it every time after using any purple shampoos which are particularly drying to my hair and tend to irritate my scalp.My hair using Olaplex No.5 is softer, smoother and appears more shiny and conditioned. It remains frizz-free, which is not easy to accomplish as I also have naturally curly hair which I tend to flat iron most days, and soft to the touch for a day or two after using this product.My hair is above my shoulders and I can get away with using about a dime-sized amount of this conditioner to do my whole head and scalp. The product is very concentrated and works through damp or wet hair easily. The scent is mild and very pleasant. I've had no irritation to my scalp using this product.It should be noted that this is no ordinary conditioner. It repairs the hair bonds on the cuticle to produce a smoother cuticle (outside of individual hair shafts). This makes your fuzzy, dry hair appear smoother, shinier, and healthier and makes it much easier to attain a beautiful style.Expensive? Yes.Worth it? Yes!Do without it? No.If you have normal, healthy hair you probably don't need to use this product. But if you have processed hair that is fuzzy and dry or breakage that seems never-ending, give this one a try. It's gentle and effective, with a little going a long way.
