Palette, No. 1: Black & White: New Monochrome Graphics (Palette, 01)

I have nothing to complain about the book. The book is wonderful. The only thing that threw me off was the color of the cover.It was black instead of white.I preferred and expected the cover to be white. But the content is there and I never got a response from the seller regarding what happened to the cover color. (I assume its just a different edition?)Oh well.

Victionary books have come to be my favorite! And this one is just as worth it as the other ones I own. Their project collections are very well picked. The book has a beautiful cover sleeve. Page after page there is a nice project to look at and a motive to get inspired to experiment with different media and printing techniques.

Extraordinary book design and presentation. A treat for eyes that feel so well in the company of B & W. Inspiring if you are into graphic design and product design. Stimulates imagination. I wished I could own as samples many of the products presented in the book. This is how much of a treat they are!

Great book! Many designs and photos, a valuable source of ideas and reference. Ideal for Designers and advertising agents. The book has a good finish with quality paper, has a dust jacket, is a good project.

Content quality is insufficient..

Excellent design work displayed in the book, more than just branding, but also fine art and fashion lead projects that are interesting to follow up on. The book only discloses general information and description of the works within brief captions. This book is more pictorial based, there is no analysis of the works shown, so as a purely inspirational book of monochrome design, it's brilliant. One has enough information to continue research on each project depicted. The picture quality is of to a very high standard and allows one to notice details within each work.Beautiful dust jacket with translucent features. The white option is the only one available and is actually very nicely done, much better in person than on the screen. Great to add to the growing collection.As an owner of all of the current Palette Series I would say that this first book isn't quite as great as what follows with the others, however of course it still showcases above average work. I say this because I'm a huge fan of the more unorthodox work they display, and in this book there is less.

Gran libro, desde hace un tiempo quería comprarlo y por fin logré hacerlo.Lo único malo es que no especificaban si era tapa dura o tapa blanda. Y resulto que era tapa blanda.Fuero de eso todo muy bien.

This is a very nice book, a must have for all the black in white designer out there !truly timeless !

La publicación es confusa y parece que son dos libros pero en realidad solo llega uno.
