I use it everyday now.
I don’t leave reviews very often, but I’ve had mine for a couple of months now. I use it every morning. Sometimes twice a day. As long as you turn it slow about an 1/8 to 1/4 turn at a time it’s very consistent. If you only drink 1 or 2 cups a day or travel this is the way to go as long as you have a way to heat water. I highly recommend purchasing the drinking lid if you travel.

Works, but requires you to work for it
It's a cute gadget. I've been using it for a few years now and it's still in great shape. The coffee comes out great and it's size is minimal for storing in my converted van, which is where I use it.I sometimes get annoyed as I need to keep turning it slowly when all i want is my morning coffee already and afterwards there are quite a few pieces to wash which does get old ..

Makes a great cup of coffee
I love travel gadgets and this is one of them. I've made about 9 cups since I received it and all have been equal. The screw on lid keeps it hot and safe from spills and keeps your coffee hot for quite a while. You can get a hand and forearm work out using this, but it's worth it. I find holding the cup and turning the orange ring started causing a sore spot on the side of my index finger. I find holding the ring steady and turning the cup counterclockwise has resolved that issue. Older people or people with soft hands, like office workers, may find this info handy. I do have to stop maybe twice during the process because it gets a little tough to turn. You will know when your getting close to completing the process when you start to hear a squeaking noise from the from plunger gasket in the cup and then when done, the orange turning ring turns easily. At this point gently pull the threaded tube to the side and the seal breaks. Easy cleanup after that. I use this travel cup at work and it's really handy if you have access to hot water. I'm very happy with my purchase.

If its not broken, don't fix it. just use a drip/filter.
I really tried to like this product. But at t he work involved in getting hopefully 8oz of coffee is a bit much. It takes a long time and the components are no bigger than a portable drip/filter system (which I would recommend). This is expensive, and the worst part is that after a good dozen uses, the seal began to deteriorate and now it makes even less coffee than before. The only reason I can't throw it away is I paid too much for it. They couldn't even throw in a lid that has a mouth spout, probably because they are sold separately. I feel bamboozled a bit, especially because it doesn't work well. Also, it smells like old coffee every time I use the mug. So, I tried, but way too many marks against this product.
