These work really well for rock painting
I recently visited my niece who was using these for rock painting with her kids. I initially thought “that’s not gonna work”, but they had large smooth, light colored stones, and these paint sticks worked wonderfully with absolutely no mess. The colors were bright and they dried very quickly. They also work very well on standard drawing paper. I bought a set for my granddaughter and she loves the colors that are slightly metallic. They seem to last long time and there’s never any mess. The variety of colors is impressive. I feel like they are a good value.

Easy to use, quick drying
I got these for my daughter for her 5th birthdat. She loves painting and has gone through many water color pallets. These are much easier for her to use. The lids do snap on tightly so she asks for assistance in opening the paint sticks. These are easy for her small hands to hold and work with. They are decent to control where you want the placement of the colors. A great range of colors. The paint dries within seconds and can be layed for darker tones or a more opaque coloration. The only time the paper was a little wet was when it was completely covered in a color, thickly. Glad I also got the option witb the drawing pad. The paper has a nice thickness and is easy to use the sticks on. I tear a page out of the book for her to use. Her first painting was "mommy" (me), I was very flattered. She put it on the fridge herself.

Great for small kids
My daughter absolutely loves these. The mess is easy to clean up and the colors are really fun. Definitely recommend these paint sticks.
