PhD Nutrition Diet Plant, Vegan Protein Powder Plant Based, Salted Caramel, 20g of Plant Protein, 40 Servings Per 1 Kg Bag

I have been using this protein powder for a month now and I must admit at first I wasn't a fan. Having read the reviews I was sceptical, but decided to give it a try. This is my first time trying protein powder. I was looking for a way to reduce calories but increase daily protein intake without using whey.I followed the instructions on the pack to the letter and found the same as others, it was watery, gritty and quite frankly off putting. Using a protein shake shaker or shaker of any kind does not work!So I experimented with milk instead of water both cows milk and plant based {oat and almond} and I experimented with how I prepared it (hand wisk and powered hand blender).For me the best combination was semi skimmed cows milk using an electric hand blender. I use 200ml of cows milk (instead of 175ml of water) and one scoop of powder and blend with the stick blender using the whisk attachment for 1 minute. It tripples in volume, becomes creamy and the flavour is there to taste.I have found that I have to chug it all or it does become gritty after a few minutes. This just means that breakfast is over and done with in less than 5 minutes.FYI check your pack for a scoop, mine had one but I didn't find it until 2 weeks after opening as it was buried down near the bottom. Easiest way is to check before opening by gently squeezing and feeling for a hard lump. That's the scoop!

It tastes better than any other protein shakes I’ve tried and has low carbs. I’ve mixed it with soya milk and water and both work but it mixes a bit better with water.

Compared to a lot of vegan protein powders I've tried, not too bad but can be a little gritty.

It is easy to mix and tastes fine. The problem is that the packs are covered in protein powder and can make a mess.I'm not sure about its benefits yet.

For me, this protein powder is the one! I’ve been using it on and off for several years and love it. Such a versatile product - you can have it as a shake, in protein pancakes, or mix it with just water until it forms a yogurt-like consistency (which is what I do). For breakfast, in a bowl, I have 2 scoops mixed to form “yoghurt”, 2 bananas, a portion of dates and some blueberries which keeps me fuelled until dinner. 40g of protein and around 600 calories. Amazing product!

I really like the strawberry flavour and use it as a shake, pudding, & sprinkled on my cereal. I definitely recommend this product.
