Truly impressed
First off, let's talk about the size. The 12 by 18-inch surface is generous without being cumbersome. It provides ample space for chopping a variety of ingredients, whether I'm prepping a large batch of vegetables for a stir-fry or breaking down a whole chicken. The 1-inch thickness is also perfect; it gives the board a substantial feel and keeps it stable on the counter, even during vigorous chopping. One of the most common frustrations with cutting boards, especially plastic ones, is warping. I'm delighted to report that after several months of regular use and countless washes, my Winco board has shown absolutely no signs of warping. It remains perfectly flat, which is crucial for safe and efficient cutting. This speaks volumes about the quality of the material and its construction.Cleaning this board is an absolute breeze. Its smooth, non-porous surface means food bits and juices don't cling or seep in. A quick rinse and a wipe with soap and water are usually all it takes to get it sparkling clean. I've also run it through the dishwasher multiple times without any issues, and it comes out looking as good as new. This ease of cleaning is a major plus, especially when dealing with raw meats or strong-smelling ingredients.Beyond these practical aspects, the Winco cutting board is also gentle.

Work great
This is a well made cutting board. We trimmed it a bit to fit the size we needed while fishing and it works great. Cleans up really well and is durable.

Excellent value
Excellent price on this UHMW board. I bought it to cut down for some fences on my router table and it works great!

An excellent, sturdy cutting board with one drawback
This is an excellent cutting board. Friendly to knives and no lost space due to cut out. No handle which means it stores easily. It doesn't grip the counter well so I use a sheet of gripping shelf liner to hold it in place. Cleans easy and the thickness protects it from warping.

Thickness is a plus
I got this board because I melted my other synthetic board that I was using for smelly stuff. I love it. The weight is good because the board doesn't move around. I do have some surface nicks from chopping but nothing major. The board does stain when I do red/orange peppers, carrots, cilantro, and red onions but I use diluted bleach to remove it when vinegar, hot water, soap, and a scrub brush won't work. This isn't a big deal and would happen with wood/bamboo boards as well. I use a lot of garlic, onions and other fresh herbs in my cooking so having a board that is easy to keep clean & not absorb & traps odors was ideal an ideal choice. This board does that. The board is not a smooth surface so it will trap small amounts of liquid from dicing onions and peppers very well. The only thing I wish it had was a well for the amount of juices given off when I'm working with meat. But I've gotten around that by cutting over my sink.My last synthetic board was 1/2" thick and it never sat flat. When I used it it would either rock or slide a small bit. Not a lot but enough for me to slow down or place a damp towel under it which was a bit of a pain since my prep countertopIs butcher block. This one does not do that.Although there are nicks in the board, unlike some other boards I got when I first started out on my own this does not create pieces of plastic that may come off and get into my food.I can't comment on how it performs in a dishwasher because I've never placed mine in my dishwasher. Hot water rinse, scrub with dish soap, hot water rinse, then wipe off excess water and air dry is usually enough to keep this clean.I'm 5'8" and that extra inch works well for me when I'm standing or sitting. I use a Wusthof classic 8" chef's knife and that Victorinox chef's knife recommended by ATK. Both are well sized for the 12 x18 board. It's enough space for me to cut my trinity without having to clear my board multiple times. I do become slightly more fatigued when I'm cutting on this board than I would on a similar sized wood board. But this happens only on major meal prep days so it's likely from the extra prep work. I don't contribute this to the thickness of the board but to the amount of work I've done. This is not my main cutting board but is a nice complement to my wood & bamboo boards. I do prefer wood boards but this is nice to have when the wood/bamboo boards are being oiled & conditioned or I'm doing meal prep for the week and have a lot of things to chop/cut/slice.For storage I screwed cup hooks into one end and I hang it inside an old oak entertainment center I repurposed as a pantry in my kitchen. This allows the board to remain dry and out of my prep space.I would purchase this again. After almost 2 years of use I am happy with this purchase.
