It's petroleum jelly. What can I say?
Here in Yakima Washington the winter humidity is so low and I'm on two blood thinners as well that I have to use it in my nostrils to keep them from bleeding. It also works great as a lip balm and you can buy it in little tubes for your pocket.

This Vaseline product is pure and clean. I love the tube because when you are using it, you are not dipping your finger into a tub of the whole thing and spreading germs. Easy delivery and no charge with Amazon prime. Very convenient!
