I was suffering from debilitating headaches from occipital neuralgia. I would wake up in the middle of the night with a headache and pain behind my eye and nausea. Medication helped but did not get rid of the pain completely. Morning would consist of warm compresses, ice, Motrin (if I wasn’t too nauseous). It was a cycle that interrupted my sleep and made my mornings unproductive. I did a search on Amazon and this pillow showed up. I read over many reviews and thought it was with a try. It wasn’t expensive and I didn’t really anticipate it helping much but I was wrong! From the first night I had relief! I have been using my pillow for about 6 weeks and it has been life changing. I never realized how my previous pillows were affecting my neck and causing so much irritation in the nerves of my neck and head. I now sleep better and wake up headache free. It’s been pretty miraculous for me. The only thing that I don’t like is that I sleep on my back and on my sides and I do have to turn the pillow sometimes at nights as I change sleeping positions but I will gladly do that to avoid the headaches. It is far different from a normal pillow but I adjusted pretty quickly because of the relief. I do put a normal pillow case over it to help keep it clean.

It does take some getting used to, but after a few days I couldn’t imagine trying to sleep without it! It did help with my neck pain some, but unfortunately it’s going to take more than a pillow. The reasons I did not give it a full 5 stars: it is very awkwardly shaped so you cannot put a cover or pillowcase on it. My husband has night sweats and has his stained terribly already. The cover does come off to wash but nothing you can do about stains that stain remover does not work on. Also, I like for my bed to look nice, these are not pretty at all lol. But I love them and I just put pretty pillows in front of them!

I have tried a few of these pillows. I have both shoulder and neck pain from sleeping positions. I am a strict side sleeper, usually rotating from left to right through the night. I've now been using this pillow for about two weeks, and it is nothing less than miraculous. I don't say this easily and wasn't sure if I was experiencing some other psychological effect, so I waited to write a review.Nope, sure enough, this pillow positions my head, aligned with my neck and far enough away from my shoulder, such that I am now having a much better night's sleep and almost no pain in the morning. It is very comfortable to use.You will need to figure out which way you want it oriented for the most relief. There is one position for sleeping on your back, and then if you rotate the pillow 180°, it's better for side sleepers. The orientations seem obvious to me, but you might have to try them both to find what's best for you.The one thing I did right away was to put a regular pillow case over the one that comes with the pillow, that made it even more comfortable.

I really love this pillow. My husband has sleep problems and snores excessively, so much so that he wakes our 6-month-old baby. I noticed the change from the first minute he used it. Now even his breathing is different, almost imperceptible. And the snoring is gone from our room. He finds the pillow very comfortable; the fabric is cool and soft, not hot like others. As you can see in the photo, the pillow conforms to the body and has the perfect shape to provide good support. The size is ideal. He tells me he feels he rests better than he can sleep without it. We are very satisfied with this purchase.
