Q: Can you use them in an airfryer

Use these while baking in the oven. Don't know about airfryer. Love them.

Yea they will. Try Putting in dish washer to wash them.

Q: Can a May that is too large be cut down to fit?

Ron can't answer you but Tootsie will. Why not? They come in different sizes for different size baking sheets.

Q: What is the plastic covering they come in?? It looks like it should come off but it won’t

They don’t come in a plastic covering. They are taped together. The coating is the surface which makes food not stick. I washed & dried mine before first use.
