OXOSteeL 9-Inch Whisk

This little guy is the perfect size. Fits easily into the drawer, not taking up much room. It’s really sturdy, feels comfortable in the hand, weighted well and cleans up in a snap!

I am a huge fan of OXO products - many of them have top reviews on America's Test Kitchens. I bought this to replace a cheap (and quickly broken) balloon whisk. OXO always considers handles in its products, especially for those who may have issues with arthritis or gripping problems.The handle is easy to grip and is designed to give full control of the whisk. It is high quality stainless steel, and is dishwasher safe. The "balloon" is large enough and has enough tines to enable tasks such as whipping heavy cream to be done quickly and without much effort or strain. Because it is stainless steel, it will resist rusting or staining unlike other metals.The tines are stiff enough to be able to whisk in lots of air, but flexible enough to not get "stuck" in thicker batters or liquids. All in all, it is a great buy and a very useful kitchen tool.

We were looking to expand our whisk tools in our kitchen and found this to be the perfect size in between our 6 inch and 12 inch whisks. It works perfectly for small dishes where you don’t need such a big whisk. It’s easy to clean and store in our drawer. The quality has been sturdy and functional. The whisk is easy to grip with a smooth handle.

OXO typically makes excellent kitchen tools and this whisk is no exception. It is extremely well made. It feels sturdy and robust. It balances nicely in the hand, with a pleasant grip. It's the perfect size to mix sauces and dips. It washes perfectly in the dishwasher.All in all... great whisk.

Thus far it's been a solid product that can withstand the melting issue I had with the one I was replacing it with. A really comfortable contoured grip that doesn't mind getting covered in batter or splatter. I look forward to using this for my drinks and my omelettes.

This is a very nice - much better than one it replaced. Many of the cheap ones allow water to get in the handle, especially if you are lazy like me and put your whisk in the dishwasher. This one doesn't collect water in the handle. My old one has a plastic handle that was chrome plated. The chrome started peeling off. Again, probably due the dishwasher. This one has a metal handle. It's been through the dishwasher 20 times so far with no problems an no rust, which means that the handle is also stainless steel. I can't imaging how anyone would find anything to complain about with this OXO whisk.
