We have harder water, and a lot of soaps won't lather well but Ivory lathers up decent even in our harder water. It also doesn't dry out my skin as bad as some other soaps do, and it is just a good plain gentler soap. I like the smaller quantity package that is available so I can just order a couple bars when needed without having to purchase a large package.
