This bookcase looks terrific. Despite its affordable price (for a bookcase) it has great quality and aesthetic; I’ve gotten so many compliments. The only downside is assembly. It’ll take you forever because they don’t pre-assemble anything for you like most manufacturers do, so be prepared for that. Otherwise, love it!

The cabinet itself is just ok. Of course it is a cheap quality material. Overall this isn't a cabinet for heavy loading. I am using it as a bag display cabinet so it is not loaded down. The drawers only open half way.The instructions were horrendous. Super easy to screw up and then you need to take stuff apart and redo it because the pics were terrible. My biggest issue was, why in the world can't a company send 2 extra screws of each hardware needed?????? Two of the screws the head was broken or there were no threads on it and I had to improvise to get it together. No way I was going to wait for customer service for weeks with this thing half put together in my home waiting on 2 screws. Just put a couple extra in!!!!! This exact item was made in Indonesia and was also available on Wayfair but Amazon was $50 cheaper.Mine arrived via Fedex. My Fedex guy about got a hernia trying to deliver it so be sure someone is around to help or else they will roll it to your house and it will most definitely arrive busted up. If you chose to buy good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor. PSA: I did try to beat said 5 hour time limit to put together but my broken screws set me back at least two hours rummaging through my saved and never used screw pile to find an obscure screw that might work to finish this assembly.

Perfect price point. Assembly took forever, but instructions were great and it was easy.

Overall I’m very pleased. Arrived undamaged and final product is exactly what I expected. It does seem to be mostly very dense particle board with a veneer and it is very heavy. It took quite a while to put together; I think around 4 hours compared to the stated 90 minutes in the instructions. The instructions were otherwise pretty clear except for a few areas where is wasn’t clear which way to face the black vs oak colored sides of the veneer.

I ordered this cabinet with great anticipation. The first box arrived so beat up I thought no way it’s going to be ok but their packaging did its job and no damage. Then a couple days later the2nd box arrived . Assembling started but when we needed panel #6 we realized it wasn’t there. All other parts were there. I called and talked to Modway, people were very nice but I couldn’t convince them to please just send me panel # 6. Just that one piece. We instead got another complete order sent. The 1 box came soon but after 10 days the 2 nd box still hasn’t come. I called yesterday and at the end of the discussion I have to send box 1 back get refund and start over again with a new order. I just wanted them to send me box#2 but no it’s always a start over and this SO DISAPPOINTING! Be wary.! I will post another review once I see what happens again. For now I wouldn’t recommend.

Good quality and good assembly, all dimensions were correct

This bookcase is gorgeous! It has really elevated my decor in the guest bedroom. It can be seen from the hallway and everyone has commented on how beautiful it is. My husband put it together so I don't know what level difficulty it was but he said it wasn't hard. Don't hesitate to purchase this. You will love it!
