Great Mud Guards, look terrific
These Mud Guards were well packaged and came with more hardware than needed, but, there are no included instructions. That is not a huge problem because they only fit one way, but I double checked the pictures in the ad to make sure I was applying them correctly. I used a 10 mm socket on a ¼ rachet, a 10 mm socket on a 6 inch ¼ extension with a hand knob, and a stubby Phillips screwdriver. I am sure other tools could be used, but, there is not a lot of work space between the tire and the wheel well area. Each mud guard has holes that align with the fender flare screw holes and those screws are easily reused to secure the guard. In addition, there is a guard hole that allows one of the enclosed screws to be screwed into the wheel well. This wheel well hole has no screw in it, but it accepts one of the enclosed screws to secure the guard. That screw will require use of the Phillips screw driver. After removing the screws from the fender flare, align the top screw with the guard hole and hand start that screw, then repeat for each hole as you nudge the guard into place. Gently screw them in after all the screws are started in their proper holes. Remember, plastic should be gently snugged. The guards are approximately 9 inches wide and 9 inches long in the middle area. The mud guards look great, appear to be a quality product and will definitely protect my truck.

Fits my 2005 Tacoma, decent cheaper OEM replacement
Got these mud flaps for my 2005 Tacoma TRD. I only replaced the rear pair since one of the original flaps was broken. The flaps have three holes for the screws that seem to align properly. However there are only two holes for the plastic fasteners and they don’t align as well. I drilled another hole for the third plastic fastener. Also ended up enlarging those holes for some new plastic fasteners that I bought separately. I used the original screws instead of the screws that came with the mud flaps. The rear mud flaps are slightly shorter than the originals but do seem relatively durable and flexible.

Quick and easy install. Worth the purchase.
Easy install and sturdy. Had to apply a bit of pressure to line everything up, but it took all of 20 minutes to put all four into place. Very happy with the result. Used for a week or so now with no complaints. They don’t rattle and actually stop debris from smacking the side of the truck. Wish I’d gotten them earlier. 2018 Tacoma
