Great little tank really well made

Worked great for a month, however the filter started slowing down and wasn’t working properly after that, and now the filter has stopped working altogether, 51 days after purchasing. It was regularly cleaned and the water in the tank was replaced regularly.

The media could not be loaded. I'm actually more impressed than I expected to be for such a tiny aquarium. Absolutely too small for fish at 5 litres but I'm planning on making a semi waldorf style planted shrimp aquarium with it. I like the fact the light is dimmable and that it has a built in temperature probe and filter. It all went together quite easily so hopefully it will run well when I have the things to set it up. As long as no fish go in it I like the quality , it's actual glass, it's got a light and removable lid for cleaning and a filter so all good things for an aquarium just in a tiny desk top sized package.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I love, love love, this tank. But there are a couple of points to note. I bought some nice wood that technically would fit in the tank, but it would have to fit through a gap the size of a pencil case, so went with the stones (see pics). I can't figure out how the water is heated, but it is. My house is 17 to 21 degrees, and the tank is maintained at 25 I think it was last time I looked. The photo you see is 24 hours after being set up. The soil made it a tad cloudy but between settling and the pump it is crystal clear. At the same time i put an excess plant into a water vase with the same soil and its no where near as clear, so i contribute this to the sponge filters. Im just going tobhave a half dozen neons in the future to keep the bio load to a minimum. The display on the top shows the temperature, a fan to say the pump works, but can't tell how it knows that since it's an independent unit... or, is it that there is a fan in the hood? Who knows!? All of this isn't in the manual. There are also two symbols on the display that have not lit up yet, and I can't tell what they are: maybe it's a screen that is used in dual tanks and has no function here? I'm currently leaving the light on 24/7 because there should come a point where the temperature should plateau depending on the power of the light. (Picture 1 is 1 day later and crystal clear water, picture 2 is one half day and slightly cloudy water).ORIGINAL VIEWS: This is perfect for me getting back into the fish world.I love the rounded edges of the glass tank, it just gives a whole new look. The housing just looks so neat and good quality. It is all practically set up, all I have to do is join the filter pipe etc. And the lid is hinged, it just couldn't be any more fuss-free. Now all I have to do is agonise between an activated bed, or soil and sand...It really is a FAB little set up, I'll post a pic in a few weeks/month when I get all the bits I need and set up with fish!

Broken tank had it less then month and it was leaking

This item is a 5L aquarium starter kit, it incorporates LED lighting, features self cleaning glass and is supplied with water pump and filter.Item arrives in branded box which is suitable for gifting, contains the tank, water pump, filter, instruction booklet.On first impression I have to say that this is a truly beautiful manufactured item, it's small in size measuring barely 6 inches deep x 9 inches wide and with a height of around 10 inches, however it looks beautiful and surprisingly does indeed come with perfectly formed and curved glass.The design provides a truly portable tank that could be placed anywhere and provides a unique talking point wherever it's placed, the pump and filter are provided and are easily assembled, you will obviously need to provide any aquatic plants, gravel and features along with your fish.The tank includes water temperature display on top of it's hinged, easy access lid and the wonderful LED lighting is also incorporated on the underside of this, the lighting is frankly also superb with eight different colours selectable, along with a lovely fading cycle option and brightness control by way of the large adjustable dial on top of the lid.Power is provided by way of the included three pin USB adapter which the trailing lid cable simply plugs into, it's convenient and easy to accommodate on a solid surface and is provided with a decent length of cable ensuring it should reach a nearby plug socket.The only foreseeable issue may be with relation to the amount of fish you can accommodate within it, as due to it's small size it will be severely restricted.However for anyone wishing to downsize their aquarium or others wishing to upgrade from a less aesthetically pleasing one, this is a great product to consider.

Water started dripping and had to put babies in main aquarium and empty it. Aquatic shop through set up wrong( problems understanding paper work) Make sure you understand.
