Great remote would’ve worked well, but it was our TV. That was the problem.
Purchased this for our older TV in our guest room. Turns out it wasn’t the remote. It was the TV itself that was having issues. The remote was the exact copy of our other remote very good quality, very good price. Had to return.

Factory replacement remote for a bargain price
I have a large Samsung TV mounted on the wall. Recently, my hyperactive and very bored dog decided that the remote was a chew toy. That serves me right for leaving it where she could get to it, a mistake that I won't repeat.I haven't had good luck with universal remotes. They're sometimes a pain to program and they never seem to have all the functions of a factory remote. I've also had them forget their programming from time to time. I wanted an OEM remote, and a bit of searching brought up this one.When I bought this remote, it was $8 shipped and arrived the next day. I put in a set of batteries and it worked exactly the same as the original remote. No programming required, it just WORKED.The price has gone up to $12 as I write this, but that's still WAY less expensive than a new TV (or a lot of the universal remotes). This is the best option if you need a remote for your Samsung TV that just works out of the box.
